I don't know how waterproof it is but it was great for driving. Very durable and I love that it has handles for easy lifting. Definitely worth spending the extra money instead of buying flimsy disposable mattress bags.

This is a wonderful long lasting product. Very roomy and easy to use to cover my mattresses. Handles make it easy to move and thick plastic provides secure storage protection. No regret! Valuable product for movement and storage. A bit pricey but good for peace of mind.

The main reason I bought this product is because it says it is waterproof. As you know the tarpaulin is waterproof BUT NOT THE ZIPPER LINING. I'm moving a king bed within an 8 hour drive and it was raining. Unfortunately the rain got in the bag and my bed is now wet, probably ruined, yes, and not a cheap bed either. This is my second purchase of these tote bags. I ordered a queen, 2 packs for a mattress and a box spring. As seen in the photo they are in storage and I'm not worried about creepy sliders or dust contaminating them. They also provided a little more stability when moving a large mattress/spring box.
