Excellent insurance if you are concerned about the bonnet popping out. (been there, done!) My only concern is that I wish they came with laces for the braces.

The item shown has two screw holes in the bonnet mounting plates for attachment to the bonnet. However, the product received does not have such holes (or screws to fix them). This is NOT a valid method of attaching the hood with pins.

First time and worried to get the right product. Perfect for e46 2Dr! There were no problems with the installation, it took just over an hour. Also, the 2 top cowl stud covers are jb welded instead of using 4 screws or bolts.

Long enough to go all the way through the radiator bracket and protrudes about 2.5cm when tightened. Looks great on my '98 Mustang. Shop with them for the harnesses recommended by Revain. They perfectly match the design and prevent you from losing the pins when working on the car.

Corner attachments for rings are missing. All items as shown in the photo. A small threadlocker (blue or yellow) is a very good idea for mounting hardware. Many cooker hoods have cutouts/recesses for the installation of these types of fittings. I got it because my deadlock failed and the hood banged against the windshield at highway speed. The replacement hood is now held in place thanks to this excellent retention system, which my friends also admire for its "hot-rod" look.
