Good inexpensive replacement

Everything was the same as the original replacement except for the wiring harness bracket. Cheaper than the auto parts store. It's worth using!

Fixed Headlight Reload/Pulse

Fixed headlight pulsing and reload issue. Used to charge to 16.2v, now somewhere between 12.9 and 14.1 with all the accessories. The radio turned off when the heaters were on or when bright headlights were previously used. Works great so far. Refreshes when it dies

Buyer Warning! Failed in less than a month!

I made a mistake buying auto parts online. The generator failed shortly after installation. Diagnosis - The diodes failed after checking at two different auto repair shops. Just pay the extra $$ and go to your local parts store. DB Electric let me down and Revain solved the problem.

3 months and phew

Installed when I broke the original while changing the timing belt, factory original still works fine after 250,000 miles. Within a week there was a slight squeak at idle, the tensioned belt was still there. Normal screeching within a month. There were problems with the brakes, the car stood still for a month. After 1 month of inactivity, constant screeching, a week later I couldn't drive with the lights on. Seriously, avoid the hassle and buy a decent alternator, the bearings on this one…

Save a little extra money and buy repairs from your local parts store.

The generator worked just over a month. One evening as I was getting ready for some food, the car started acting strangely as I pulled into the restaurant. I ordered food and when I stopped at the window I told the guy I had to stop because my car was dying because my energy was gone. I put a new battery in a week before so I knew it couldn't be the battery. So my car stalled when I pulled into the parking lot and I had to leave the car with the windows open due to lack of electricity. I took…
