For Honda D17 1.7 engine with single VTEC camshaft. This is NOT amateur work. Only beginners and professionals.

This alternator is a perfect match, brighter headlights and less cranking to start the engine. be happy with this product. THIS IS NOT AN AMATEUR JOB! Several adjustments are required. But it will save you hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars in store fees. If you have any questions call me. πŸ‘

Poor fit but good price and fast delivery.

I have a 2002 Civic LX and it fits like crap. Couldn't fit it in the mounting bracket so I broke my caliper and found the mounting boss (the big hole in the picture below) is .050 wider than my old alternator. It's just over 3/64, which might not seem like much, but it was too big. I didn't have time to play around with returns so I had to use a grinder to make it fit. If I had to do it again, I'd spend a few bucks more for something that fits properly.

Proceed with caution

Well the first thing I noticed during installation was that the fitting was detached. The metal had to be shaved off to fit the car. It wasn't a straight bolt, if I didn't have the right tools to modify the alternator I never would have installed it on the car. After installation, I noticed a noise coming out of the device as the car moved. I thought it was the belt so I replaced it but unfortunately the alternator itself is making the noise.
