Better turntable than most sold for this purpose at a much lower price

Oddly enough, you will see quite a few turntable manufacturers selling similar products for much larger fractions of $100 and that is far from case . informative like this level. This plane is good enough to replace my previous testing procedure with two large one-dimensional planes at right angles. And cheap enough to use with every deck in my world.

Rugged construction, proven accuracy

I use it to align my telescope's equatorial mount, which saves a lot of time setting up the polar (RA) axis. All I know about accuracy is that on a completely flat surface (really hard to find!) it will perfectly match my 24" Stabila spirit level with the bubble perfectly centered. Inserting a 1/4 inch strip under one end of the Stabila (angle 0.6 degrees) moves the vial two divisions, a reading of about 0.5 degrees. And the reading stays the same when I rotate the spirit level. good enough for

RV Use Camper Level

This level is a 5 star purchase for my purposes. I won't go into its accuracy as it's just as convenient and useful to take the camper to an absolute level if it's within a few degrees. If my propane appliances aren't working and I can't cook a few degrees, I'll have to reconsider my vacation. I had to sand down the protruding spots on the case.

Normal accuracy for general non-critical use. I bought five and found two flaws: the bottom of the aluminum cases was not flat and the plastic dual level bubble insert was crooked in their case. The bubbles also varied in size. All five anodized aluminum cases had a bulge in the center of the back that allowed them to wobble from side to side, making readings unreliable.
