Missing piece. on my review.

Nice for the garage, I would’ve given 5 stars however came with a missing piece and we are not able to use it to its full capacity. Comes in small box and defiantly can’t put all the pieces back together to exchange. Bummer

Pros
  • Can be customized with additional shelving units for larger storage needs
Cons
  • The unit is not suitable for children's playrooms due to its stability issues

What I Like:-Product arrived new-Assembly was as easy as building a very large Lego frame, just make sure you have a decent rubber mallet.-Lightweight aluminum frame-Comes with rubber guards for the cornersWhat I Didn't Like:-A couple of the shelves was already starting to chip in the corner upon arrival-Metal parts had scratches because they weren't individually wrapped-The box and packing materials seemed like it wasn't designed to handle the abuse of shipping & handling.-Shelves are made of…

Pros
  • Offers a cost-effective storage solution that’s built to last
Cons
  • The unit is not versatile and cannot be used for a variety of purposes

Exactly what I was looking for!

Our house has limited storage. and the linen closet was in the middle of the living room. right in front of the sofa (where any sane person would put a TV). We decided to use part of the guest closet for linens. this fit in the closet perfectly! And. there's still room at one end of the closet for a short clothes rod. plenty enough for the occasional guest. We've used alot of those chrome wire shelves that are super sturdy. but that really need 2 people to put them together. I did this one all…

Pros
  • Can be easily anchored to the wall for added safety and stability
Cons
  • The unit can be difficult to disassemble and dispose of responsibly

Good value and easy to assemble

I purchased this shelf for my office to hold a variety of office supplies and I think it works well for this purpose. I put this together in about 30 minutes and didn't find it too difficult to do by myself. Having a rubber mallet is needed to attach the brackets together. Since I don't have one, I made do with a regular hammer and a piece of cardboard to protect the shelf. A minor annoyance was that some of the boards were stained with an oil-like substance, but not a big deal since the shelf…

Pros
  • Assembly instructions are easy to follow for hassle-free setup
Cons
  • The unit is not portable and can only be used in one location

Workhorse if shelving

It is difficult to put together by just one person but not impossible. Sturdy, doesn't wobble, shelves wide enough for storage totes. Won't come apart until you take it apart. Lasts for years (this is my 2nd one, the other is still going strong.)

Pros
  • Resistant to rust and corrosion for extended lifespan
Cons
  • The unit is not easily customizable for different storage needs

Decent for the price

I ordered two 36 inch shelves. They arrived fast, were easy to put together, and were overall great. I would have given this rating a 5 star if it ended there. Later, I ordered two 48 inch shelves. The bars were bent, the shelves were broken on the corners, and everything almost looked used. I was able to bend the bars back and make the shelving usable (shipping it back would have been a mess). In conclusion, I would rate the first batch of shelves as 5 star and the second batch as 1 star. I…

Pros
  • 48 x 18 x 72-inch size for ample storage space
Cons
  • The unit is prone to tipping over if not secured properly

Basic and Functional = 5 Stars

Ordered this shelving unit to get our outdoor gear off of the floor in our cozy spare bedroom. I didn't really care what it looked like or anything. Just wanted something about these dimensions that was functional. It arrived at our front porch and is a fairly heavy box, so I scooted it inside and then decided to open it up right there and transfer the parts separately to where I would be assembling the unit because I did not have a second person to help me lift the box.Assembly was quite easy…

Pros
  • Medium-duty 5-shelf storage unit (double post); ideal for a kitchen, office, garage, or other space
Cons
  • The shelves are prone to sagging under the weight of items

good quality but missing a piece

This is a good quality set of shelving. The only problem was that it was missing a side brace (I see another reviewer had the same problem). I called ebay to send a replacement but they don't have a procedure for doing so. After initially saying they would send me an entirely new set for which I would need to remove the missing piece and then return the rest of the set (which would be a hassle since it's quite heavy and I would therefore need to schedule a UPSP pickup), the ebay rep quite…

Pros
  • Can be easily adjusted to fit different storage needs
Cons
  • The unit does not come with any additional storage accessories

Super shelving is easy & sturdy

This arrived when promised, assembled easily, light enough to complete & move simply, and is sturdy enough for safety & ample storage in our barn feedroom!

Pros
  • Durable construction with long-lasting aluminum material
Cons
  • The aluminum construction is prone to rusting

I love these shelves

Compared to your typical heavy duty garage type shelving these are beyond super easy to assemble. I did need to use a rubber mallet to firmly lock the pieces into place. If memory serves the original description says they can be assembled without any tools but that was really not the case. Maybe by someone with a whole lot more upper arm strength. Did not detract from my opinion of them in any way. Shelves are fully adjustable and no super annoying plastic stoppers for shelf support which…

Pros
  • Minimalist design for maximum storage efficiency
Cons
  • The unit is not stable on uneven surfaces

Smaller than advertised

SO. Big thing. If you're buying this with specific dimensions in mind, don't. Or go a size up? Actual dimensions (floorspace) are 47.5" x 17.5". I bought it knowing the unit I need to put on it would be a tight fit, but turns out it will not fit at all. So yeah now I have a shelf I might not even be able to use, so that's fun. Bright side, it was easy to build. For anyone else using this for terrariums, workable distance between front supports is 44.5". Good luck.

Pros
  • Storage & Home Organization
Cons
  • The unit is not stable and wobbles easily

Great and easy to set up by yourself

I needed bookshelves for my home library. I wanted something with a ladder on wheels, but they were THOUSANDS of dollars. I also couldn’t find any cheap bookshelves for less than $80. I’ve used these types of shelves in my basement in the past and they are sturdy. The ebay shelves have a locking mechanism, where my older shelves just had a metal four out the shelf support slips into. These are much safer. HOWEVER, the metal on the top and bottom is sharp. You get caps to put on so do that first!

Pros
  • Rivet-lock design for easy bolt-free assembly; instructions and anti-tipping accessories included
Cons
  • The unit cannot be moved once assembled

Sturdy and attractive, but a few minor annoyances

Top marks for the sturdiness and finish of the rails. The particle board is durable and the finish is fine for a storage shelf, but it’s not exactly fine to the touch. The top and bottom rails don’t quite line up perfectly which is mildly irritating, but otherwise it assembles fine and feels extremely sturdy. The only other annoyance is that the top and bottom rails are held together only by the middle shelf, so you must have the middle shelf set at 37”. I was hoping to use this as a standing…

Pros
  • Garage Storage
Cons
  • The press board shelves are easily damaged by moisture and water

Sturdy and simple to assemble

Love this! Half in pantry for microwave and ice maker to sit on, I covered the top piece of mdf with contact paper. Blends well with other stainless in pantry. Shelves are so sturdy. Will hold anything you want to put on it! Position the bottom shelf, place shelf, move up. Easy to reposition shelves. Built by 1 man in about 20 minutes. Will buy again for the shed.

Pros
  • Can hold up to 400 pounds per shelf for heavy-duty storage
Cons
  • The unit is not sturdy enough to hold excess weight
