Exactly what I was hoping for

I was looking for a brush to dust the eraser off my pencil sketch before watercolouring. This was spot on as it is very soft and will not smear any remaining pencil lines or damage watercolor or paper. I'm glad I chose this for my purchase for this task.

Not sure at this point if the brush will hold and the bristles will stay in place

Wooden handle is attractive and durable. But I opened the packaging and after getting the product in my hands and running my fingers over the brush, I noticed that some bristles popped out under my light touch. Hopefully just because it's new. The bristles are softer than I wanted.

it was terrible for brush

after careful reading and comparing i ordered this brush. I paint a lot with graphite and lost my old brush in the process. This brush is so hard/brittle. When I wipe the crumbs off the eraser, the bristles break off, leaving more dirt on the paper. Scratching paper is an endless exercise. I threw it away and had to order from an art supply store to get the perfect brush.

The bristles should be sparse, gentle!

Some reviewers complain that the bristles aren't thick or strong enough (my paraphrase) but they don't have to be! They should give small, light things like a few grains of dust or eraser crumbs a very subtle, light shine. You shouldn't disturb anything else. The brush works great and is an incredible value. I gifted it to my bibliophile husband who likes to repair and conserve where necessary. There are many durable brushes in the world, including a fresh clean brush. This brush was designed…
