Amazicha Motorcycle Taillight License Sporster Review

The first few years ago were cheap metals but modern ones like these have strong plates which are important when attaching to custom floats and cafe racers!

I only have this for the tail light so I can mount it on another license plate holder. Good quality. The finish is great and it feels solid. I got other mods that seemed shoddy and whimsical. That's not it.

I'm not a fan of screws, but they work well for the desired plate position and angle. I'll be cutting the brackets and welding all the time to get rid of the bolts. Excellent powder coating, the light works perfectly. Bright and very good looking. Thank you!

As you can see from the photos the headlight housing stays hot from the electricity and the bike's main fuse keeps blowing. It took me 2 days and $10 backups to find the problem. The bracket looks good, but as you can see it doesn't fit the license plate properly. Not suitable for 4 plate screws

Cool stuff. Looks great. I set mine to horizontal so I'm less likely to be dragged. I had to drill a bit of a hole for my axle bolt to match my star bolt. No problem, I think the paint was a little thick. I also had the problem that my brake light worked but not the tail light. I thought it was the wiring but I just blew a fuse. In general. great light that doesn't cost much at all.

To be fair the light isn't bad for the price. However, there are some issues that need to be known and/or addressed. The biggest problem is the cheap metal it's made of. I installed it on a 1980 Harley and it shakes horribly every time I twist the throttle. This will cause the light to flicker a little and eventually break the bracket. Another problem is that the license plate light is connected to the brake light and not to the daytime running lights. The license plate light only lights up…

I was impressed with the overall quality of the body, lens and mounts. Everything is well made and beautifully finished, especially considering the price. However, the LED lighting unit could be improved. The tail light circuit and the brake light circuit drive the same LEDs, the only difference is the brightness (the tail light circuit has an additional resistor).
