Works well, "soft handle " is quite stiff and not ergonomic

This brush comes in a protective plastic sleeve to reduce the risk of injury to people when removing it from the box. I had a little trouble opening the case despite the perforated lines. I use this brush for my Shou-Sugi-Ban wood stain technique. The wire brush itself works very well. The grip is soft and not ergonomic. My glove size is 7.5 and finger placement is awkward. If you have large hand/fingers the grip might fit better.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very good wire brush

This wire brush has very hard bristles that withstand thorough combing. It is quite long so you can easily clean large areas. The long handle has a nice rubberized grip, which is very convenient. The scraper is very useful for loosening hard materials. I got this specifically to clean the tiles in my pool and scrape off limescale. Typical pool brushes have more flexible bristles that wear out quickly. This one should last longer. So far it's doing its job well, especially with limescale…

Decent quality brush with very hard bristles

Good wire brush. Made of plastic, with steel bristles and scraper. The bristles are very stiff, which is what I expect from this type of wire brush. The handle is designed to keep your hands out of the way of the workpiece, and with ribbed fingers and thermoplastic rubber, the handle provides a secure grip that reduces the chance of your hands slipping. The description says the brush has a "porous handle" but the handle is rubber coated rather than foam coated. Rubber is much better as the foam

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Quality paint scraper

I really like this paint scraper. The carbon steel bristles are very stiff and should handle chipped paint well and hold up well over time. The handle is comfortable with good rubber padding and finger indentations to provide a great grip and will not wear out your grip if you use it for a large project over a long period of time. The plastic handle itself is also very stiff with a slight bend so you can apply a good amount of pressure and control your work. The metal scraper at the end is…

"Works perfectly, you can use a different row of bristles "

Yes. Here is a detailed review I received from my beloved husband who was delighted to get a new wire brush as his old one was horribly bad. When the brush arrived I thought it was a grill brush and hung it up. from the grill. Then the man came home, looked at the brush and came in laughing. He informed me that it was a brush, not a grill brush. Sorry, they look about the same to me. He used it on a garage door that had a stain that was peeling off. After that I asked him for a detailed review.

  • Hands-free

Good scraper but not durable

This is a tool that every homeowner needs. The brush's steel bristles provide powerful brushing without bending or breaking the bristles. The contoured handle, coated with a rubberized substance, is very comfortable to use. The bristles are stiff and evenly spaced, but not so sharp as to cause injury when in use. I was mainly concerned about the handle because of its square cross-section. The scraper works well and is slightly larger than a brush. I find this quite handy as I always use the…

Difficult conditions! The bristles hold up very well.

I use this brush with bristles to clean the brick walls and the porch. We used it to remove loose chips of paint and also to smooth out some surfaces that were caked with dirt and particles in preparation for painting. That thing is the bomb! It is very durable and has performed well so far. The last time we did this particular paint job we had to use 2 different wire brushes, but I think this will remain the case throughout the project. The bristles are so strong that they hardly move. What I…

Quality brush at a good price.

Revain did a great job with this brush. I give it 5 stars for its many positive attributes: + Stiff/Durable Bristles: These steel bristles are very strong. I think I'll use it for serious purposes like removing rust from metal or cleaning burned material from scratch resistant surfaces. + High quality built-in scraper: The scraper is made of thick metal and is well attached to the handle. enough that I don't see any potential problems in using it. + Low weight with a comfortable grip: the…
