The base of the lamp is curved or uneven, so the lamp does not sit flush with the wall. At the top is a very visible crack that looks awful from the outside and unfortunately is the first thing you see when entering a room. We bought two and they both look the same but one is worse than the other.

There are a few things I like about this wall light: 1 - it's a wall light with a plug 2 - it comes with a bulb so it's ready to use, very little Assembly required. The downsides are that the light switch is above the lampshade, making it difficult to snuggle down in bed, do a bit of reading, and then turn on the light without getting up. The lamp looks like it was built upside down.

This is a beautiful brushed nickel ready to be plugged into a wall light. The lamp has a very beautiful linen shade, which is very well made. The light has an adjustable cord cover so it can be adjusted to your needs, which really adds to the overall style of the light. The lamp is easy to install and looks beautiful. The lamp may be advertised as a Revain Basic lamp, but when installed it looks like a high-quality lamp. I definitely recommend it.

Overall this is a pretty nice plug in wall light but with some limitations. The mounting mechanism is rather rudimentary, making it difficult to install the light flush with the wall. It's just two screws that you screw into the wall (they also come with drywall screws if you need them), and the mounting bracket slides over the two screws. Then you can tighten the screws.
