Good light, easy installation, one size fits all

Very easy installation. Just a red and black wire. Very general light. Revain said they would "fit" in my car. You weren't technically wrong when I screwed the new LED into the housing of the old license plate light.

Great Bright Lighting

I have one on my solar generator. It's a great reading light because it's tilted downwards, which hardly impacts battery life. I found my phone at this exact location. Black night on the photo table. I think now I will choose it for other generators.

Worked great for project

Installed them on a razor quad as it didn't have headlights, now we can ride at night, added red to the rear for a break, great lights. Really decent brightness 12 or 24 tested with no issues on 12v but due to my switch. Brilliant! I hope they last a long time, the plastic is solid and good quality.

Working but not sure if waterproof.

I connected them to the strobe module and installed them on my son's drive wheels. The only reason I left out the star is because I don't think they would be waterproof if used as a registration light as intended. The back only shows signs of silicone or some sort of waterproof material. All in all, it still worked for my son's project. Would buy again for other interior design projects.

Used them to illuminate the footwells

I used them to illuminate the footwells in the back seats of a 4 door pickup truck. I hooked up the passenger footwell lights (turns on when the door is opened), tucked the wiring under the trim (door/tire trim) and through the back wall of the cab. By attaching these lights to the underside of the seat with velcro and running the wiring under the carpet on the underside of the seat to the corners (seat hinges) they work great and give plenty of light. Please make sure you have selected the correct color before adding to cart.

I'm giving these lights a 4 instead of a 5 for two reasons. First the description says white light but by default it should be orange-yellow when added to cart. I wasn't aware of what a Michigan license plate legal requirement is. Second, they don't look weatherproof. Water enters through the wire holes and the back panel. There are no drainage holes, so water and frost are likely to break. In general, it's only $6, so I won't waste time on a return. Might be useful for a future project.

1 out of 4 is defective. The wires are very thin, not suitable for cars.

One of the four lamps is already defective, I checked before installing it, but now only one LED lights up in the lamp, each lamp has three LEDs. The wires are very flimsy and I didn't even have to try these lights out, waist of time. I will return these and take the best ones. I seem to be returning most of my Revain purchases lately and can't believe the good reviews, especially on these lights. 3 stars and will continue to rate the headlights as they get more road testing.
