🚽 American Standard Champion One Piece Toilet Trip Lever - Left Hand Metal Lever, Polished Chrome Finish, 2.50" W x 1.00" H x 9" D Review

Replacing the toilet handle takes about 3 minutes, not with this thing. 8" but it should be 1/2". I tried to submit it but still couldn't. Also, the bar is at an angle so you have to try to bend it to fit. Too much work for a simple detail and task. As for the price, you can say tear.

Bought this simply because it has a metal lever/lever instead of the typical plastic lever for my American Standard toilet 4266 (Plastic) often breaks). Installed it yesterday and it's working great so far. It is installed in the same way as others for this toilet model. (Note: It comes with a plastic nut/fastener, but NOT a rubber washer - I ended up using the rubber washer I had previously).

This is a great replacement for the grip/lever on #4021 Cadet 3 tanks and others. It fits perfectly in a square hole. My wife had trouble pressing that little pointy button on the A/S Cadet 3 toilet. I used this one as a replacement, you can adjust/bend the brass a bit to the exact shape of the plastic original once it's installed. That had to be installed, not that stupid designer lever with nowhere to press.

I will never buy American Standard again, not even until I buy a new house. It's overpriced for what it's worth and functional please. To be honest all I needed was a 5 cent nut to screw it into the grip. They don't have one, and worse, the nut on this one doesn't match the old handle (literally 1mm difference, no improvement). It's not designed for this, but it worked in my American Standard 4266 tank - although the lever is a little long. When flushing, it slightly touches the lid inside the tank, but that's not a problem. If you want to make it perfect, you can shorten the lever a bit. This lever is made out of metal as opposed to the actual 4266 tank grip which is made out of scrap metal. Great Flush Lever! I have a Champion 4 two-piece round toilet and the crappy plastic lever broke. Found this one after reading some reviews on plastic levers and I'm glad I chose it. This definitely works on two-piece toilets if you have them. The very first Champion toilets had a metal flush lever, but I think they decided to start economizing to save a few bucks. Easy installation. We still have our standard 1963 American toilet in the master bathroom.
