I have an 18x22 screen in porch with an 18' peak and gabled roof 12/10 roof. There are 4 2-head halogen lights mounted on soffit. I replaced one light as a test with this product. It is somewhat brighter and whiter in light than the previous light. However, the design severely limits the amount of tilt of the main light. Not an issue with facia mounting, but on the soffit it is about as little you can get away with. Some applications it probably will not tilt up and project out enough.

How can I rate Motion Detection, when this does not have motion detection?I knew that this did not have motion, so I had a few of my own and installed it. Instructions were atrocious-just look at it before starting and it is very obvious-one long screw mounts the whole assembly to the provided bracket and cover the screw with the provided grommet or rubber as they call it. As for the lighting-fantastic and a brilliant white light. All lamps can be adjusted up and down and the side lamps can be rotated 90 degrees maximum. I have now purchased these several times as I’ve gotten around to replacing what I started with. The positive things that I like about these are- they’re LED, so cheaper to operate, there a 3 lights on these so you can basically wrap a corner of your house with light as well as the nice big middle light that shines out, great coverage area, and I don’t have to change bulbs!

I hired a young man to install these and warned him of the reviews that said be careful positioning the "wings” He installed 3 in about 30 mins said it was extremely easy and they are wonderfully bright. They light up from my home to the street approx 50-60ft. In the back they are bright enough to cast light through tree limbs and make dark spots quite visible. Very pleased and a good addition to my home security.

This unit was extremely easy for me to install, taking about 15 minutes for me - an experienced DIY-er to install on a roof eave with a box already wired. The unit installs right out of the box, the movable LED light panels are easy to point in the desired direction, and are about 25 feet off the ground. Considering the lumens, the lights did not light up as much of the yard as I expected. These replaced flood lights which were expensive to use but lit up the entire back & side yards. These barely light up the deck and dog pen. They aren't motion lights.

UPDATE: I’m an idiot. I didn’t realize a switch in my bedroom also controlled the flood light circuit. Works just fine. 5 StarsWorked great for a little over a year then simply stopped working. Checked the wiring, all is good, installed by professional electrician. Disappointed.

This light was very easy to install and lights up the whole backyard. It tends to be pretty sensitive to motion so you have to turn it down a good bit. Better than not being sensitive enough. Very good price compared to to similar ones at the big box stores.

Provided this light to my builder to install on my new house. When they went to install it, they said one of the arms on the side light was already broken but I was already past the date of return. So I decided to purchase another one thinking it could have been the electrician that broke it on accident when trying to install it. Nope! The light is great, easy to install and does a great job of lighting an area, I'm still testing the motion detection aspect, but great light otherwise I would recommend purchasing it.

I installed this light outside in March 2021. We use it occasionally when the kids are out back playing or when taking the dog out. The other night I went to turn it on and the circuit breaker immediately tripped. Turns out one of the LED panels is fried. For the price I paid, and given the fact I can replace it myself without the need to hire an electrician, I'm not too upset about it. Hence the 3 star review.

The only dislike that I have for this light is that the main light does not have enough movement range to aim the light for more coverage. The smaller side lights have plenty range of movement.

This product was great easy to install and had a small problem getting the motion detectors to work but once I work they that the product works amazing

The installation was easy, just had to get a mounting bracket since the wires were outside and a 1/2" conduit was used. The brightness was a pleasant surprise, it lights up the backyard very well. I like that I can angle the two lights on the sides to suit my needs. Overall I am pleased with the light.

This light is daylight bright and gives exceptional coverage. Adjustments allow placement of light over a broad area.

Bought these lights and finally had my electrician install them today 11/23/21. The 1st one he installed was fine. The 2nd one that he opened out of the box you can tell it wasn't new and when he went to install it, it was not working. Paid for 2, and only one worked. I had to buy a new one and pay for it. I couldn't return the light because I was out of the warranty period.

I ordered the black model and the kit only included a white weather shield. Looks stupid to have a white ring around a black light. I painted the hang over portion black. The screws supplied are not the correct diameter. I used the old screws from the light replaced. Other than making the project more time consuming, the light works just fine.
