Just by following the instructions on the mailbox, after 7 minutes I went back to my microwave and found that the "angry mom" was really angry. she burned. I received it today and tried it as soon as I opened it, following the directions to the letter 'T'. I don't know if it was a squirt of lemon juice reacting to the vinegar and water (poured into their respective lines) OR if it was just too much steam, but I'm NOT happy. Paint chips came off the top and bottom of the microwave in just ONCE! I have an Amana radar range and they are not cheap. I have no idea how this design made it past the first stage. It is recommended to first add the vinegar up to the line marked on the body of the product. The problem is that the body of the product is very dark blue. No matter how I light it or hold it at different angles, it's almost impossible to see the liquid you're pouring, let alone when you fill it to the line indicated.
