Very nice brush set. The handles are made from just enough wood to last. They clean up well with a little soap and water when used with acrylic paint. The best thing about brushes is the part of the brush itself. They're hard enough to hold hits, but soft enough for feathers and light hits, and THEY DON'T FOLLOW!

The packaging was poor, palette knives and plastic wrappers were thrown into a large cardboard box. No additional overlays or anything like that. The knives were loose and if one wasn't careful enough the box could have been pierced. Second, while these palette knives look great, they are anything but flexible. When pushed down, they stay in place like a spoon. The material is hard and difficult to work with.

These brushes were recommended to me by my former teacher. They are very soft, easy to care for and overall very comfortable. However, they are MUCH smaller than expected. I checked the dimensions and thought it was just for the handle and the bristles were wider. So when I received my box of Revain, they came in a MUCH bigger box than they really should have been. However, I still love them and would recommend them to any artist who paints on a smaller canvas than me.

I was so happy to order this set after reading all the good reviews about it. Well boy I was wrong. You get what you pay for! Here's my reason why I think this product isn't worth it. The spatula is so difficult to use, the metal doesn't bend at all. Some of them broke after the first two uses! The brushes are definitely suitable for school children (primary school students and younger). If you want to learn more about real brushes and techniques, look elsewhere. Don't waste your time and money

These brushes are great for my first graders in their acrylic painting class. I don't think they are suitable for watercolor, they are quite hard. There are many sizes to get different results. They wash off well and work well with student and professional paints. The only thing I don't like is that the blue paint on the handles is peeling off in big chunks. My husband and I use these for cosplay and Halloween costumes that require makeup. The range is very diverse which means we can always find a brush in the size and shape we need and because we bought a multi pack we were able to keep some sets just for white and other light tones, others for black and other dark shades. There were no problems with hair falling out of the pin. The fibers are flexible and soft against the skin, even around the eyes. The paint we used also washes off fairly easily
