🚀 AP 709993 High-Performance Exhaust Muffler by AP Exhaust Products Review

I bought Yota with Cherry Bomb or Glass Pac type muffler. He could be heard approaching from a mile away, like a juiced herbivore. Turn on this bad boy and all will be quiet. Now I hear the roar of the power steering pump. &?!@#!

Good muffler. It's quiet and cheap. It will rust a little, but a little spray with 20% phosphoric acid will get rid of it permanently. It's a bit restrictive on my 5.3 liter V8, but if you're putting this on 4 cylinders I say go for it. Maybe even a small 6cyl.

Bought this muffler on 12th December 2013 and installed it a few days later. By October 20, 2015 it was completely rusted at the seams and coming loose at the exhaust pipe. The original muffler lasted 11 years, this one didn't even last 2 years. Now I need a new damper. It definitely won't be.

Dimensions: Body = 19" Overall Length = 24" Inlet and Outlet ID = 2" and OD = 2.1". Tacoma requires bottom inlet and top outlet. My truck had a muffler/exhaust pipe assembly when I bought it used. This build is available from Revain for around $100. I just wanted to change the damper. I sawed off the exhaust pipe and had to find a way to connect the exhaust pipe to the muffler (I used a 4" piece 2" OD exhaust pipe and two clamps). I also need to make an awesome replacement for the OEM muffler…
