Bought the brand name and spent days trying to figure out why it still doesn't work. After many wasted hours, having ruled out all other possibilities, I bought this device and no longer in lazy mode. I felt confident when I saw the initialized quality control marks applied with a pen without a stamp.

This is a trademark of Borg Warner but is not sold as such. It fits and installs relatively easily. Time will tell if it will hold up, but looks good. My 2005 Chrysler Town and Country moved well during my test drive (6 miles). I used to get about 16mpg, but now it's almost 20mpg; committed on a recent 600 mile round trip.

! Absolutely horrible experience! I installed a new solenoid valve and when the engine was switched on it immediately went into emergency operation, after pulling and reinstalling it several times I came to the conclusion that the part was not programmed correctly. My car computer did not recognize the solenoid as belonging to this car. I have no idea if it was programmed at all or for another machine. I had to reset the old part and luckily this actually fixed the problem. Strange I know.

I bought this shift control module but I recommend it to anyone looking for it if this part is suitable for your car. I urge you to seek the advice of a mechanic. I bought it and had an original purchase for my 2005 Chrysler City and Country that makes the transmission shake because it has the wrong part number. I went to the dealer, cut out the correct part number and bought it from geekparts.com, now I am completely satisfied because I have the correct part. Thanks for reading and God bless…
