Warning! The water is getting hot! Bought this thinking UV sanitizer was cool. It stayed that way until it got warmer. It still gets cloudy even after draining all the water about 4 times. I checked the PPM with a TDS tester and it was still above 69ppm, not sure if that means "alkaline" but not too impressed. The system was installed just under a month ago. Installation was very easy as the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I agree with other buyers that a flow switch could be installed to only activate the UV light when water is flowing. Credit has to be given to APEC for recommending a solution to avoid this initial hot water problem, but I have no problem with how it works once set up. This item comes with two cardboard tubes, one containing a UV lamp with an O-ring fitted externally and the other containing a UV tube. Bottle.
