Description of Apeks Aqua Lung XTX50 Regulator

This octopus is based upon the XTX50 second stage. It includes left / right reversibility, coldwater capability and the performance you would expect from an Apeks pneumatically balanced valve. Diver-adjustable controls for opening effort and venturi control. The unit has a high visibility yellow front cover, yellow accent pieces and a 36” yellow hose. Comes standard with small exhaust tee.

Fantastic Regulator for Water Sports

Using this regulator, our team found that it was incredibly easy to breathe underwater. The smooth and effortless inhales made our scuba diving experiences EVEN more enjoyable. The design was sleek and lightweight making it comfortable to wear during long dives. However, the price tag may be a bit steep for some, but the quality and performance justify the cost. Overall, we highly recommend this regulator for anyone looking for a top-of-the-line option for their sports and outdoors activities..

Disappointing Regulator for Water Sports

Based on my observations, this regulator did not meet my expectations for ocean diving .The mouthpiece felt uncomfortable and made breathing difficult. However it was easy to ATTACH to the tank. Overall, for the price, I expected a better experience. This wouldn't be my top choice for a reliable and comfortable regulator for sports and outdoors..

This is Apex. It's great

With my technical setup I use it as my second main stage. Absolutely identical to the standard all black XTX 50! I've had the original XTX 50 for a year now and it's just immaculate. I added an Octo XTX 50 to complete my old hardware upgrade and literally "breathe easier".
