The first one had a melted wire when it arrived so I couldn't install it. The second one I ordered started out with the same fan noise as the original, so the bearings in it just aren't right. Works great, up and running in minutes. It helps a lot to leave the old burnt power wires connected to the PC until a replacement arrives, and then just trace the wires one by one and replace the old device with the new one.
