We have very mineral water. even with a whole house filter. After the car wash, a lot of white mineral deposits dried on the red body. So I have these filters and yes they work great. I still have to clean the windows, but otherwise it's almost free.

I have to say I'm impressed. I've used it to rinse a stain free car wash and it helps. I rinsed the car with about 2 liters of water after washing and the next morning. no stains! I'll let you know if it successfully filters 100 gallons before another filter is needed, but my initial rating is 5 stars.

We live in the Midwest and we have very hard water with extremely high iron levels. Our outdoor water turns a deep orange after a while, staining everything: sidings, sidewalks, kids' pools. We bought this filter for our new pressure washer. So far, so good. The pressure washer still works great and the iron seems to filter great. Definitely recommend.

The summers I live in are quite hot and the water contains a lot of minerals, so it's difficult to wash and dry the car until it gets stained. Water stains are significantly reduced by using the Aqua Crest water filter. It's a bit awkward to use the way I do it (screw onto the end of my hose and then screw my nozzle onto the other end of the filter), but it's doable. I only put it on my car wash hose so I hope it lasts longer. I am satisfied with my purchase and will buy this product again.

Definitely not clean water. I was hoping for how cheap it is it really would be a game changer but if you are NOT. The only way to get my water tester to read less than 50ppm was to connect both filters and then turn on a very, very slow flow of water. If this is what you want for a flawless vehicle wash, this is not your product, spend your money and buy a true deionized water system. It is written that it is intended for car wash and perfect rinsing. I hooked it up to my pressure washer and washed my fiancee's black Jeep that afternoon to test it and not dry it out. I hoped there wouldn't be water stains, but they stayed anyway. So I just rinsed again and dried with a towel. Not as bad as if I didn't use filters. I've been using it for a few months, I think it's doing a good job. I'm in a heavy water area and have a medium dark car (not black, more of a medium metallic blue). The water flow doesn't seem to be impeded, which I find a bit of a shame. However, I can dry my car without stains - or at least +95%. The secondary purpose of the filter is to clean the water before it enters my electric pressure washer. So for this use case I think it works as advertised. You still need to dry your car in time…
