This paper is of excellent quality and texture. I highly recommend this, but test a small patch first before your first painting as ink absorbs differently on all heavy papers.

Arches beats all brands in my opinion. I teach watercolor classes at the technology center. This is my paper proposal. Students create much richer, fuller paintings with this £300 paper!

I love how this paper takes watercolors. I haven't painted in watercolor since high school, so I'm definitely a beginner. The only downside to the paper is that I only drew one picture and the sheets are already torn. I chose block instead of sheets so I don't need a board and tape and I'm worried they won't be able to stretch properly or fall off completely as they're already falling apart.

THIS WAS RECOMMENDED BY MY WATER COLOR TEACHER. VERY DURABLE AND WILL NOT CRACK. YOU CAN PAINT DIRECTLY ON THE SURFACE AND DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE PAPER TO WORK ON THE PAINTING. REALLY PLUS.

I like dice because they are easy to carry, but this paper is expensive and you only get 12 sheets. However, you can draw directly on the block and separate the sheets without deforming. It's 300 pounds and a healthy size (9x12) so the price is pretty good actually.

I was delighted with this pack of watercolor paper. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. although I usually buy loose paper; I found this block very handy for painting outdoors. I don't normally use £300 because of the cost. But I have found that heavier paper works much better than lighter paper. Revain is my first choice for most products.
