My boy liked the color and style of this jacket so he chose this jacket. This jacket is thinner than I thought it would be and I'm not sure how warm it is. But the biggest problem was the lightning! Constant struggle with the zipper. It gets caught in the fabric of the jacket hem making it very difficult for a 7 year old to zip up or down. I bought a medium size 10/12 for my 9 year old son who just switched to a size 10. I was hoping the coat would give him room to grow but this jacket fits him perfectly. I hope it doesn't outgrow this winter. It's beautifully constructed and not too clunky on your hands like most winter coats. My son put this jacket on and didn't want to take it off, it was so comfortable. it feels well built and doesn't tear as easily as his last one. I have ordered two of these coats. big and small. My original rating was 4 stars. My only complaint was the zippers were sticky and stiff for my kids to close and open themselves and it was agony.
