I bought two of these for my pop up camper. I wanted to shade the tops of the popups. I liked that they were waterproof and the description said they were durable. It's not difficult! I barely pulled the blanket over the camper roof and it ripped at the seam where I was holding it! Literally broke within minutes of unpacking!

This tarp definitely helps retain body heat. I break out a sweet dream in it. Smells a little like chemicals from the packaging. Hanging it outside for 48 hours and hosing down a few times will reduce most of the scent. The product comes with a zipped carrying case made of the same material. After purchasing this for the Pathfinder base class, I used it for the first time last night to build a night shelter. When knocking over the stake, the opposite sleeve (back switch) simply ripped apart, separating the waterproof material from the black fabric at the corners. With each subsequent use, the structural fabric of the Arcturus material will tear further down the center. I definitely wish I had bought the Pathfinder equivalent. While I have not fully tested this product, I am giving my review as it is. I will update after full testing. First impression: build quality is great, size is great. I'm 6 feet tall and that's tall for me and it wraps me up nicely. The eyelets are solid and the fabric around them feels solid too. Basically a glorified tarp with a reflective coating on one side. It claims to be reinforced, but judging by the fact that the item falls apart after a few months, I agree it's not properly reinforced. Look at the photos. I attached it lightly to the top of the chicken wire to keep rain out of the running area. It was a few months before we got a light wind of about 10mph and then it just fell apart completely. I have built at least 30 small outdoor shelters for my wildcats and they all prefer the ones with this cover. The frost was below zero and they always run to those who are in those tarpaulins. Coincidence? I do not think so. My cats are so smart when it comes to warmth. It would be great if they were bigger. I haven't seen them, if they exist.
