Great option for sharpening knives

I have successfully sharpened several knives. I make knives as a hobby and use different sharpening methods depending on the type of knife I'm sharpening. I have a camping version of the Arkansas stones that are great for patching blades when you're out and about, so I decided to try their big brother for home use and they work great. I don't have to, but I will buy this system again if the need arises.

Excellent sharpening stones, handy holder

Two excellent Arkansas stones and a coarser diamond stone in a very handy and attractive solid wood holder. The top stone is held at the ideal height for hand sharpening and the bracket prevents oil from splashing onto the worktable. I used all 3 stones to sharpen a brand new pocket knife and they did their job perfectly. The cap on the small plastic bottle probably won't last long, but that's not what I bought it for.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great, good customer service from Best Sharpening Stones

This product works great. I haven't sharpened my knives in 3 years and this sharpener has brought even the worst knife back to life. This skill has to be learned, but it's actually not that difficult. A few tips: 1) Place a damp towel under the sharpener to keep it in place during use. 2) When you sharpen, stone dust goes everywhere. It is easy to clean, be aware of that. 3) Don't go 3 years without sharpening knives. When I first got the sharpener one of the stones was cracked and broken. This
