I'm lucky to have WOW (Wide Open West) cable service in my area. With the Internet I get 500 Mbit/s down and 50 Mbit/s up. When my power cord from my WIN10 PC was plugged directly into the 1 Ethernet port on the back of the Arris Surfboard SB6190 cable modem, everything was fine; 500 down, 50 up. But I work from home and need another port for my VPN, WFH phone. I've now tried 2 Arris Surfboard AC3200P wireless routers and the 4 port switch on both didn't drop 500mbps, only about 30th and @47โ€ฆ

Very bad advertising for ARRIS; inappropriate information. For example, it is very easy to follow the instructions. However, no added value after parrying with an ARRIS modem and then setting it up in another room. Therefore, when contacting support, it was suggested that another ARRI product would be needed (for a proper renewal). I have this (SBX-1000P) and yet it has been stressed that ARRIS SBXAC 1200 is (also) required. My SBX will be hardwired and (2) 1200s can be placed in another roomโ€ฆ

Works great with the Arris SBG6700 Wi-Fi cable modem

It literally took 5 years to find a Wi-Fi extender that worked well in the home. I used to buy several extension cords from different brands, but the problems I encountered were either the signal range increased the wifi a bit, or I had to fix the extension cord almost every day to get the extension cord working. I ended up going with the same brand of extension cords as here, but based on all my horrible past experiences, settled on a used model. After a full 5 days of use I couldn't beโ€ฆ

It was very easy to set up once I realized there was a .

It was very easy to set up after I found out there is an application that helps to understand it. At first I struggled with the traditional router login method and it was more confusing than I remember. The app allows you to secure your network and shows you everything on your network (aka network map). You can even stand somewhere in your home and check the Wi-Fi signal speed and strength. The built-in reverse current function was great. I have a Netgear plw1000 that I used with my old nโ€ฆ

Customer NO service!

ARRIS is extremely useless for troubleshooting. Every time I called, they offered different solutions that required multiple steps and a lot of time. None of them have ever worked. Even with an IT pro who was here 8 hours and on the phone with ARRIS for over an hour, the problem could not be solved. I have already asked the IT company to solve my WiFi problems with another solution, which they did. After that, my 30-day money-back window ended. ARRIS was very close to me and would not acceptโ€ฆ

Slightly better signal strength, not a bad experience.

This warehouse deal came with a fun rattle inside, but the machine worked. I didn't like how the wireless hotspot was presented to the WiFi receiver where I couldn't allocate a separate 2GHz band as the 5GHz band. Both seemed to show up as equivalent Wi-Fi networks (the only option in my selection of available wireless networks). I haven't noticed any noticeable improvement in signal, but this might work better with the extenders it's supposed to support.

i love amazing for networking products

I was having internet problems so we tried this product. No more waiting for videos to load on Netflix, games will never freeze or drop us out of a game on our PlayStation. This is the best product. We have a Time Warner cable so we can take full advantage of the 2GHz/5GHz technology. This little man will help you extend your WiFi wherever you put it. Excellent signal and no dropouts when playing video games. You also can't connect it to a surge protector. In order for it to work, you must plug
