ASICS Cael Wrestling Atomic Yellow Men's Shoes: Dominating the Mat in Style Review

people I followed all the reviews about the size. I have a size 8 on other brands. I ordered 9 and it fits me perfectly! This shoe has excellent grip. I used them for boxing for the first time today. I felt like I've been using them for a few weeks now. My feet and shoes were as one. Tight but not too tight, my legs could breathe. So happy. incredibly happy.

At first I thought it was just me, but now I've seen plenty of reviews that say the same thing - these shoes are insanely slippery! Even the tiniest drop of sweat on the mat feels like walking on ice. I almost hurt myself several times because for some reason these shoes have the most slippery soles when wet. I'm afraid to keep wearing them as I'm sure my luck will eventually run out and I'll end up tearing something trying to wrestle.

I wear 11.5 (US) 4E wide which is hard to find. So I decided to try the US size 12 and it barely fits, I was expecting extra toe room and there is none, and it's a bit tighter than I'd like when the laces are totally loose, but I can handle that . I've been a Zumba Instructor for 5 years looking for the perfect shoe and here it is! BRIGHT! Like dancing shoes, but sporty. I like the look and the transition of the two colors from dark to light. The seller was great but they really need to state in the description that they are very small. I ordered a size up so went from 9 to 10 and 10 was still too small to squeeze the front of my big toe. So I returned my original order for 10 and after 3 days received 10.5. Overall happy with the shoe now that I know I need to go 1 1/2 sizes up from my usual shoe size.

I use these shoes for training. I prefer the minimal matte shoe feel on DLs and squats. A much more affordable option than shoes "advertised” as platform-less weightlifting shoes. These things fit like a glove! It's usually 12, but I chose 12.5 and I'm so glad I did. They look great and have held up well. The mesh parts allow the shoes to breathe, which hopefully will keep them from developing odors prematurely. I love them and will order again!

Overall this is a good pair of shoes. I noticed that the stitching started to unravel after 2 hours of use (1 exercise). I will send them back for a replacement. Maybe I just got a defective pair.

I used these shoes mainly for deadlifts when I was working out at the gym. Let me tell you they are just amazing. They fit your foot like gloves and the cushioning is so minimal it really feels like stepping on barefoot. They are even aesthetically pleasing if they are ordinary wrestling shoes that are not usually famous for their beauty. I really like the blue ones I have but I'm hoping that over time I'll be able to buy a pair in red or orange or maybe both because I like them so much.

Over the years we have purchased many pairs of ASICS wrestling shoes for our sons who wrestled and never had a complaint. After only two months of use, the sole of one of these shoes cracked on the sides. We had to replace them in the middle of the season. It was amazing, expensive, disappointing and frustrating.
