I've always loved Asics and these shoes are just great. Super light and comfortable. I will definitely buy future Asics running shoes.

I am currently training for a 10 mile race and a half marathon and had to buy these shoes because my first pair was worn out. They've got about 120 miles on them so far (both trail and pavement) and they're holding up well. There were a few healing blisters on the first few runs but other than that the shoe was perfect. Great price for good shoes. Suitable for those who are just starting to run.

The Asics 2140 is an improved update of the 2100 series. A great shoe not only for running but also for everyday wear. For this reason I order it in black.

This shoe is very restrictive. If you need a heavy shoe for motion control, this could be the one for you. I read another review complaining about sharp arches (the arch literally has a knife edge that's only lightly cushioned by the inner padding) in shoes. I bought it anyway because of the many other positive reviews, big mistake. After a few short runs, I tested them by running 17 miles. My right foot was scraped and blistered from a poorly constructed arch. I felt so good taking these shoes

I'm a longtime Asics fan and have worn several styles over the years - always a size 12 - but they had a narrower toe box than usual and were pinching my toes (would definitely cause an ingrown toenail cause on my big toe when I wore them) - so had to be sent back (unfortunately at the expense of return shipping). Bottom line: Still like Asics, but I'll just be buying brick and mortar - so I can try it on to ensure proper fit/sizing accuracy - from now on. It would be nice if Revain Prime…
