They were perfect when I put them on, they fit well but I recommend breaking them in before a show. Overall great shoes. 😃

Wrestling shoes take time to break in. Like a baseball glove. They should be comfortable and have little space. Take 1/2-1 size up and you'll be fine. ASICS never disappoints.

The problem with Asics wrestling shoes is that they don't fit. I ordered my size almost exactly, but after reading the reviews I realized I had to go to a stone store to try them on. Glad I did. I had to go up a size with the styles in store, so I ordered this size on sale. It turns out that this model only had to be increased by half. Well, they still work and I'm still lame in combat, plus the price was pretty damn cheap. The quality also seems to be good and I'm styling it.

It's not my fault that the size chart is wrong and I have to pay for the product. The supplier has to bear the costs and the only solution they offer me is a bad phone number.

My son has painted these shoes about 12 times since we bought them. He only wears them on the wrestling mat. The lower part of the laces begins to diverge. I am disappointed in the quality of this shoe.

I bought a pair of these in black in 2014 but were a size 9 1/2. The front sole was coming off so I went for a size 10. When I got the new ones I looked at them and saw they looked small to me so I went and compared them to my old 9 1/2. They are exactly the same size.

Although the shoe is advertised as being flexible enough to fit a wide foot, it doesn't fit me in any way. I usually need 4X but I can handle 2X but this shoe doesn't fit me. I actually ordered 11 even though I usually carry 10.

I got these for training in 2015 and to be honest they worked really well for their purpose. But they also run small in men's sizes, so make sure to order one and a half sizes larger. They should be snug, but not too tight. I usually wear 8 men's and 10 women's shoes and for this shoe I got 9 men's and they were still too tight but I ended up breaking them in.

Very convenient. My son loves this. He needed wide shoes but since we couldn't find them we ordered a size up. Ideal! May not be suitable for wrestlers with wider feet!

I wear this for Krav Maga. It feels great on the mat and I can make better contact with the ground. Significantly improves leg function. I am a woman wearing US 7.5 sneakers. So I ordered US 8 as most reviews recommend. The length seems perfect as I have room for my big toe between the tip of the shoe and the toe. But the width seems a bit narrow despite the women's legs. However, he still feels good about working on it. I guess I'll just have to lace it up differently and let it spread out.

I love how they are more durable than regular cloth wrestling shoes and how much more flexible they are thanks to the split sole. Everything together just looks cooler.

It's a snug fit and they offered me to go a little higher as the shoe runs small, but I'm sure I'll stretch it a bit as I work in it. Great pair of wrestling boots!

With all the wrestling shoes. Can anyone make a pair for wrestlers with big feet? Make sure you choose at least one size larger.

It worked well for wrestling on the school team. Helped a lot with sliding on the mat or pushing! Unfortunately b4 will outgrow them next season.

Good comfortable shoes. I got it mainly for weightlifting. I would recommend getting a full size because they are very snug. Will return.

Great shoes, reliable and comfortable. The chart says 44.5 = 10.5 but the shoe itself says 43.5. Excellent grip and overcoming in about a week consisting of 7 training sessions.

Had to go back and get a half size up but my son loves them. Good quality. Old model but my son used this before and he needed a new pair.

They fit my son just perfectly. My son said they are very comfortable. We will definitely buy this group again if the need arises.

I have flared wide feet. I usually wear men's 13 EE. Pros: Inexpensive, $60. The sock was perfect and gave good ankle support. Cons: Cheaper plastic materials. Dan Gable Ultimate 4 vs Split Second 9 due to superior traction, flexibility and ankle support (although not as good for wide feet). If you're on a tight budget, Split Second 9 is a great choice. Dan Gable also looked more like loafers as it lacked a true toe box.
