ECCPP The fuel pump is defective and does not need to be replaced completely

The fuel pump is installed as specified. I started the truck engine, ran for 7-8 minutes and then stopped. I checked the resistance at the pump, there was no circuit in the pump through the winding. Bought the pump locally and haven't had any more problems. Also, there is no pressure sensor on the pump, you have to use the old one. They don't tell you that if you place an order and think you'll get a full set of units. A new pressure sensor costs about $50.

At the same time I changed the fuel filter, the car runs very poorly, the engine does not start without revs. I've never had this problem, although there may be some other factors that I don't…

For those wondering, getting my truck into the shop to fix would have cost just under a thousand dollars with the pump alone running anywhere from $150-$250. Replacing him wasn't easy, but it wasn't difficult either. or. You can use an impact wrench, a pry bar, a 19mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver to replace the fuel pump. I had to remove the pickup platform (which is
