they worked great. They are so strong that I bent to hell.

worked great. They are so strong that I bent one of them and was able to bend it back. I find the metal to be of very high quality, otherwise it would tear. I cut metal, plastic and more. One of my favorite parts is the high quality plastic case that holds them well so you don't lose them.

  • Everything is fine!

Works great on thick MIG welds, withstands repeated abuse.

Took them to grind some welds and they worked great. Fast learning curve, my first grinds were very deep but I got the hang of it. I've used it on about 100 2" long welds in many corners and the 2 largest bits look very good, there are a few chips. in the teeth but they still form fine

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Empty

Much cheaper at Revain than at MAC or MATCO.

Much cheaper from Revain than the MAC or MATCO catalog, will last you for years. A NOTICE. I used them to port LSA compressors.

Nice ridges in Cutting Grats

I've worn out my first set and am ordering more. These aren't the best burrs in the world, but they work well. They're a little more talkative than I'd like and they break if you're not careful, but they're sharp and cut quickly. I've used them primarily on mild steel, cast iron, and weld metal. They clog up with aluminum fairly quickly (like most steel burrs). So if that's what you're looking for, I recommend burrs that are specifically designed for cutting aluminum.

The best carbide bits!

Honestly these are the best carbide bits I've ever had. I have a 20 year old air grinder, which honestly isn't that great, and a 25 year old 20 gallon/120 psi compressor. At 80 psi these bits have completely eaten 7/16 steel. I had to make several holes about 1/8" in diameter and was able to open each hole in about 10 seconds. I was shocked. The best beats in the world. With the right tool, they can be difficult to use without depressurizing the line.

Exactly as described.

Well balanced, easily cuts steel, iron and most other metals. Yes, even aluminum. Better aluminum surface quality compared to special aluminum carbide. If they're ever loaded with aluminum or zinc, just clean them with ammonia. The body is a little weak and the millstones can rattle. You'll be staying in my work truck, which isn't exactly smooth. And often off-road. But if they live in your toolbox or workbench, they're fine. To keep the ridges from falling out and hitting each other, I put a…

Poor porting performance

I bought these cutters to port iron cylinder heads. I understand they aren't the best in the range but given the average price and good reviews I gave them a shot. The burrs I got aren't the sharpest and require a lot of pressure to get them to shear. If the burr starts to slip or crack around the teeth, it will chip off easily. When working with softer materials like wood or aluminum I see they work well, but harder materials like iron and steel can give poor results. I bought a drill for $15,
