    Great Phones for Office Electronics

    I purchased two AT&T 86009 DECT 6.0 Phone Systems for my business and then purchased additional phones for future use. It's not always easy to find quality dual-line phones that don't cost a penny! The phone system is amazing as are the phones and bluetooth. The system has an extremely easy to use menu.     We purchased this phone in late 2012 to complement the original TL86109 base and cordless handset bought about a year earlier. Pairing with the base was easy with no issues and the display shows it is handset 2. Reception and quality are very good, just like the original. However, from time to time, at irregular intervals of about 2 months, communication with the base breaks off.     I love this phone! good for landlines

    Apart from the sleek looks and comfortable fit, what I like best is that it's not just a dual line phone, but also the ability to use the base or handsets, to reply to my Bluetooth -enabled cell phone!     It is not possible to factory reset this phone if it is currently registered to another inaccessible base station.

    I have four of these phones. I bought three new and recently bought one used. New came "unregistered" and logged into the database normally. Used arrived pre-registered at another base. It refuses to recognize commands from my database, including the unregister command. Disconnecting the battery from the handset will not work because the registration information is stored in non-volatile memory. The manual and online FAQs don't solve this problem, instead providing brain-dead information like…

    Beware of "as new " - return code required!

    Revain was out of stock and I wanted them to be the supplier and I wanted fast so I ordered a used like new unit and saved $6. Well, not quite like new. If the phone was previously paired to a different base (which is likely the case if it was returned from another customer), you'll need to request a reset code from AT&T. This is definitely not covered in the troubleshooting guide and the phone is unable to pair with the new base or even hold charge as it keeps trying to find the old base. you…
