Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Great value for money for music lessons. For the most part, I took it for listening / analysis and creating my own. Sound quality at the presence level (if the track is well recorded and mixed). It is very important to understand why these headphones are bought. These are monitor headphones and there is no "wow" effect when listening, the sound is direct and linear. You will hear the composition as close as possible to what the author intended. High detail of each bell and rustle on the…

Pros
  • For home use, a great option: strong, comfortable and sounding. Most of all I like the sound without distortion, without swamped bass or highs. Perfect fit to the head. I have a relatively small skull and on most headphones I push the darlings almost to zero (here, too, one division is put forward). Usually, the headphones begin to press on the sides. Here at first it was the same, but by bending them a little in the opposite direction, I achieved a perfect fit. The rim is metal and bends elastically, unlike plastic ones.
Cons
  • A little heavy, it's not worth much to wind your head under the mitall. The design is industrial, bulky - you don't look much on the street. And I don't want to part with that sound.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

The sound of these headphones is simply amazing. I am just an amateur music lover, so I made an assessment subjectively, based on my own feelings. Before buying, I read a bunch of reviews on headphones from various manufacturers, but the sound is a very individual thing, and therefore I decided to test the whole thing personally, which is what I wish you (if there is such a possibility). I can say that in the price segment up to about 18 thousand, these headphones made the most impression on…

Pros
  • - Sound. The sound is just great. - Convenience. I am the owner of rather big ears, in connection with which I very often felt discomfort when wearing monitor-type headphones for a long time, and besides, I almost always wear glasses. So, despite the above circumstances, after putting on these headphones, after a while I almost forget about their presence on my head. What can I say - the landing is beyond praise. -Ergonomics. The weight of the headphones is quite small - the feeling that a weight is hanging on you will not arise. And of course, the foldable design. Thanks to the hinges, you can tuck the earcups inward, making them look quite compact. And yes, the cable is removable. -Equipment. In the kit you get 3 cables and a bag for transportation (unfortunately, this is not a hard case)
Cons
  • -Material. Too much plastic in construction. I read a lot of reviews, and all as one claimed that the reliability did not cause any complaints, but still . -Design. Well, there is no dispute about tastes, but in my opinion they look quite nondescript. Although they were created, of course, to a greater extent for studio use, and not for everyday wear.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

I've been using them for over 4 months now and I'm very happy with them. Don't expect super sound from them if you're an audiophile. There are no "decorations" but there is an honest sound. Ideal for information and analysis! This is exactly what they were purchased for. And this is a very worthy option! I also record voices with them, too, I can’t say anything bad, I’m satisfied!

Pros
  • Good ears for the money

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

Used them for 7-8 years. And for production, and for mixing, and for DJing. The previous, white 50s, began to crumble, I decided to find something new and interesting. I took new Baer 700 pro x. Imagine my surprise at how uncomfortable they fit for the money. The head and ears were pressed very hard, the adjustment did not save. Plus, the middle is much more comfortable to work with the m50x. This is not anti-advertising for an ated version of the legendary 770. Apparently, these are anatomical

Pros
  • Sound, reliability, convenience.
Cons
  • Ear pads fall apart over time.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

An old, highly tested and improved well-known ATH model. Indeed, nothing superfluous and excellent sounding, lightness and comfort of landing. Also available in exquisite colors and finishes. Requires sufficient warm-up time of 50 hours or more to reach its full potential. Of course, with the relative omnivorousness of headphones, it still requires a player with current amplification and high-quality content of FLAC and DSD recordings. They are not dry monitors, but with their own nature of…

Pros
  • Over-the-ear full-size dynamic headphones that wrap around the ear and sit comfortably on the head, lightweight and comfortable for long listening times. Almost no pressure and not very hot ears in them. Nice design and color choice is possible, blue and purple are especially beautiful. The cable is removable and 1.2 meters long, which is very good. Three different cables included and an adapter for 6.3 mm. Soft case included. Relatively soft, although thick. The sound is perfectly balanced and after warming up it pleases especially ! The detailing is on top, the sound stage is also not bad. The 38 ohm resistance makes them versatile and acceptable on different devices. Frequency range: 15 - 28000 Hz is quite sufficient. Perfect fit and lightness on the head are extremely important and it is possible to listen in them for a long time. They are fully revealed only with high-quality recordings and a decent player and amplification. You can listen at low and maximum volume, which shows the high quality and class of the model. So the branded model is extremely successful 🎧🎵🎶🎼🎵
Cons
  • There is no hard leather case included. Headphone cables are quite thick, although of medium softness. The connector is straight on both sides, not angled. The input plug of the headphone cup is straight and very long, which is not always convenient. Models in a color scheme are much more expensive.

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

One summer while cycling, I did not notice how my standard sennheiser cx 300-ii plugs got into the spokes of the wheel and one ear was completely torn off. I was not very upset, since the headphones were already a year old, and this model has not lived with me for more than a year, so internally I was ready to buy them again. But then I thought, why not go to a new level higher and hear your favorite music in new colors? Feel that very "wide stage", juicy sound and all that. In the process of…

Pros
  • I've been listening non-stop for 8 months now. I took white headphones, but they do not get dirty at all :) 1. The sound is juicy, bright, tight and clear 2. The stage is wide, the sound is voluminous 3. Quality materials 4. When folded, they are small and fit even in a small backpack 5. Complete set (pouch, 3 cords, adapter)
Cons
  • Not

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

If you also buy a sound card for at least half the price of headphones, the sound quality will increase significantly. Noise isolation, for headphones without noise reduction, is exactly the same as for headphones without noise reduction, but they sit tight and are enough at home. It will not suit lovers of booming bass (like Sony), here it is elastic and clear. Requires a minimum of manipulations with the equalizer, highs may seem bright, since the frequency response tends to be flat.

Pros
  • - Sound - Build quality, materials - Ergonomics - Hinged cups, rotate 90 degrees in both directions - Rich equipment - Price
Cons
  • No hard case

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

These are my first headphones for +10 except for airpods. I listen through creative sb x-fi titanium mostly heavy, fast metal and rock. The first impression is that I have not listened to music before. All instruments sound very legible, all parts are clearly audible. Tight bottoms, nice tops. I haven’t taken them off for the 4th day already) Manowar in them is a shock!

Pros
  • Sound quality. Build quality. 3 replacement cables included.
Cons
  • Didn't find

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I compared for a long time at home with other classics of the genre, with the Beyerdynamic 770, 990, pro and not pro, with the Sony 7506 and something else: in the end, I still chose the M50X. Buyers definitely win in terms of soundstage and detail. I really liked them, that 770, that 990 in any ohms, and they are comfortable too, but I personally could not stand the loose top. It's individual, it's normal for someone, for someone - like me - well, it's impossible to listen for a long time and

Pros
  • My favorite headphones. First there were M50s for a few years, then I listened to the M50x and liked it even more, bought them too. Someone says that there is no difference - for me the difference is significant, the detail in the M50X is better.
Cons
  • Ear pads in two years in the dust.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Why sound is both a plus and a minus: The ATH-M50 are truly monitor headphones, and this is their biggest Flaw for the average user. When listening from a phone or embedding with a mat. The sound of the board is not bad, even good, sufficient to please the unlucky listener with clarity, stage width and good bass, but! as soon as you connect the headphones to any high-quality audio card, then your impressions, I emphasize, as a PEOPLE, are broken. Actually, the main drawback of the headphones is

Pros
  • Sound, appearance, build quality, the presence of three different cables and a 6.3mm adapter.
Cons
  • Sound, quality of cables, mechanism for attaching the cable to the headphones, price (for 2022).

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I have been using it for almost 2 years, so I have something to say. I must say right away that the headphones are used in the studio. Let's start. 1. Sound! - Yes, it is slightly embellished on treble and bass, but given the excellent detail, it is very convenient to "align" the frequency range and panning of the track, es-but, everything should be checked later on the monitors. 2. Convenience. - for the "elephants" these headphones are not suitable, tk. the ear pads are small, fortunately, I…

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

The dimensions of the inner part of the ear pads are approximately 5.5x4.5 cm. The height of my ear is approximately 7.5 cm and these headphones cause discomfort due to the tight fit, despite the soft ear pads. I tried to change the size of the headband - then they slide off. I will try to stretch the headband, leaving it stretched over some wide object for several days.

Pros
  • Sound, quality of materials, convenience and variability of connection.
Cons
  • The auricles begin to hurt in an hour.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

Ears are CURVED! On the bottoms of the neponyaki, the bass is enough, but it is somehow not expressive. Middle failed! The top is lifted up, it clicks . I instantly compared it with the younger 30s, the latter are better for me, although there are a lot of questions for them . We didn’t go in without an equalizer. NEVER MO-NO-THE! Before you buy, listen, compare with other products and do not make decisions based on reviews! EVERYTHING IS INDIVIDUAL.

Pros
  • Fit, sound isolation, workmanship, soft ear pads, classic design.
Cons
  • Sound!

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I have been a happy owner of these headphones for three years. The sound is more than decent, if you want better - buy a cool sound card and senheisers for 20k+. In the range up to 15k, I have not heard headphones at least equal in sound to these. For three years, the skin of the ear pads has cracked, which does not cause any discomfort. I warn you that they are only suitable for home listening. They are quite heavy and sit tight on the head. In the summer, the ears are outside and they fog up.

Pros
  • - Excellent build quality, for three years no breakdowns or complaints - Complete package, no additional purchase required - Excellent sound quality - Good sound insulation
Cons
  • - A strong pressure to the head, from which it will not work to sit in them for a long time. After 3-4 hours already uncomfortable - Ears sweat

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

Came 2 days ago. In the first minutes of listening (attention!) distortions were noticed, although the sound was not loud. So don't be surprised. Now, apparently, they have "warmed up" and there are no more distortions. As soon as I put it on, I felt a little sorry, but now I don't. They sit perfectly on the head, do not cause any discomfort even after 2 hours of continuous wear. Your ears don't sweat in them, even though it's not hot outside right now. I have rather small ears and they are…

Pros
  • Relatively flat frequency response, deep and fast bottom end, good noise isolation, play well from almost any source.
Cons
  • no L-shaped connector

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The earphones are actually smaller than they look on the photo on the Internet. The ear pads seemed to me a little harsh at first, but then the headphones loosened a little and the pressure on the head decreased. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, but the price for them is a little high, I took it for 7200r, but I would give no more than 6500 for them. : I changed my mind, the headphones fully justify the price, several months have already passed after the purchase, but I can’t get

Pros
  • Of course the sound. It can be called a monitor, because each track sounded new, as if the sound depends only on the track, and not on the headphones. Good low frequencies, not pressing on the ear, as in some other headphones. The tops are great. I do not advise taking them for games, it is impossible to play them, only for music. Headphones are suitable mainly for instrumental music, not so much for electronics, but this is how you like it. Folding, movable design. Allows monitoring with 1 ear, comfortable to wear around the neck (you can put it on the neck and turn the cups to the chest). On the head, the headphones are held well, generally comfortable. Removable cables, it is very convenient. You can put the headphones separately from the cable, do not carry a 3-meter cable with you, like headphones with a fixed cable. The set comes with a bag for headphones with a company logo, it is quite convenient to carry headphones in it. Noise isolation is above average, engine noise is heard in the gazelle. Appearance is good, you can safely walk around the city.
Cons
  • The moving parts are plastic, which is not very good because they can wear off over time, but I lubricated them a little with silicone plastic lubricant. A thin pad on the headband, so that the head does not hurt, it is necessary to correctly position the headband. For me, they turned out to be too big, even when fully folded, they sag a little, pressing the lower part of the ear pad on the head.

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Friends, today February 22, 2022, I came from a very famous headphone store in Hong Kong - I bought a direct replacement cable 1.2 m and in fact only they have the original cable in Hong Kong. Attempts to buy a cable from the official partner of Audio-Techniques "Sava-service" ended with a promise from a telephone conversation with a nice girl about the supply of a cable on order from one month to six months, let me remind you - 2022 is in the yard. Another well-known djing store promised to…

Pros
  • 1) SOUND - and this is the main thing, then: balance, frequency response, sensitivity, resistance, etc. 2) Tolerant to the signal source: you can listen from a portable hi-res player and from a music smartphone 3) Reliability of the design, with the exception of the cable, but we will consider it a consumable item - I wear it every day for many years, in winter and summer
Cons
  • 1) Support for the manufacturer and dealers - below in the comments 2) The 2.5 microjack plug is still a bit long and I agree with the commentators - it touches clothes, especially when moving and turning the head, especially about winter clothes

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

Especially for those who are going to buy "blindly" and "blindly", for those who simply do not have the physical ability to go to the store, listen to the headphones before buying and at the same time you do not know what to choose - M40x or M50x, I would definitely recommend taking ONLY the older one model. Yes, yes, I know, many people write that they say it is the M40x that sound even better, as if smoother. Having personally compared both models, I was convinced that NO, not smoother and…

Pros
  • sound. Comfortable, soft ear pads. Unlike the M40x, here the ears fit completely into the ear cups. Build quality and materials.
Cons
  • Didn't reveal.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good and quality product, but there are flaws.

The model is good, the sound is powerful. Pumps Meizu MX4 and Cowon J3 with a bang. Convenient wire. Most often I use the one that is “like on a grandmother’s phone” - it’s convenient to go to the printer at the workplace or I don’t take off my headphones to the kettle. On the street with them is not practical. If removed from the head, then they put pressure on the neck, causing discomfort. You have to flip the cups outward.

Pros
  • Good sound, I heard something new in several songs. Great design. Good solution with cables.
Cons
  • Ears sweat + over time, the upper arc becomes covered with cracks. It doesn't bother me, but it looks annoying. Not very comfortable on the head. The earcups press on the ears and the headband presses on the head. Not critical but noticeable

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, its pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

I was going to buy a focal spirit pro, but the last ones were taken away before me, the consultant advised ATH-M50x, and gave focal one as an example. Of the two, I chose the ATH-M50x, listened to unfamiliar material, came home and turned on nirvana, rammstein, guano aps and was shocked, my inexpensive coss played much cleaner in the middle, the ATH-M50x has a very colored sound. The voice is high. I read about warming up, but I don’t believe that he would fix it. Exchanged for AudioTechnika…

Pros
  • good sound insulation, extraneous noise well eliminates, sit comfortably
Cons
  • the vocals are very loud, you can't hear everything else behind them
