- Sound quality, comfortable fit on the head, swivel cups, equipment, affordable price.
- sound; replaceable wire; design - appearance.
- when you walk in them, no one lays a red carpet under your feet.
- - Sound quality, volume and balance in the frequency spectrum. - A detachable set of wires, especially pleased with 3m.
- - Compared to Philips O'Neill Stretch, they are harsh, but tolerable. - Plug of interchangeable wires, which is connected to the headphones non-standard
- - Sound quality - Comfortable to wear - Build quality - Reliability - Detachable cable
- For me, no!
- Sound! He is awesome! Pile of cables included
- Price? Yes, it's not a pity for such a sound 😊
- 1) Incredible expressiveness of sound and a sense of closeness to the performers. 2) Good bass, not the most detailed, but deep. 3) Headphones reach their full potential when used with mobile devices, do not require an amplifier. 4) Ability to use interchangeable cables of different lengths. 5) Reliable, time-tested (inherited from the M50) design.
- 1) Narrow sound stage. 2) Very strong high frequencies. It's good for sound engineers to hear recording defects, but at home, especially on old and live recordings, you will also hear all the defects, crackles. Some find the M50x's "tops" too aggressive and fatiguing. Be sure to listen before buying. 3) Sound detail is good, but not great. There are headphones that outperform the M50x in terms of detail and natural sound, even around their price point. 4) Ease of wearing, I would say, at an average level.
- The sound, it really opened up when I bought a good sound card, I really liked it. Sufficiently strong construction, in the second year, of course, small cracks began to appear, but it is quite possible to repair this if hands grow from where they need to. Long wire, more than enough to the sofa, convenient.
- The ear pads were just terrible, on the fourth day of walking in them at a temperature of about 20-25 degrees they cracked completely and even a hole appeared. (Maybe I'm lucky.) And they are quite hot.
- Sound, wearing comfort, package.
- Not cheap.
- 1) sound quality 2) quality of materials 3) build quality 4) the reliability of the headphones themselves (I’ve been listening for eight or nine months - nothing fell off, didn’t start to play, creak, crack, bend in the wrong direction, etc.) 5) reliability of the cable (special thanks to the manufacturer for this - there are ropes, not "threads", the fastening is also made firmly)
- did not seek and do not want
- Sound Build quality and materials Reliability Completeness

- - Smooth sound - True. You hear exactly what is recorded, without embellishments and flaws. - Readable all frequencies - Loud, pumped by any normal smartphone - Distortions are minimal, not every trained person will hear them - Underpriced considering their characteristics
- - Bulky. If you are a rock climber, or any extreme athlete, and intend to wear them everywhere, then these headphones will be a burden for you.
- First of all, it's sound. Build quality, a detachable cord, of which there are three in the kit, they sit quite comfortably. Good sound isolation for over-ear headphones.
- Not very suitable for portable use. After a couple of hours, the ears are still tired. The cord socket is not located very conveniently, it would be better if it was at an angle of 15 degrees. Crooked hands of some sound engineers.
- 1. Sound quality. The sound here is balanced, there are no mega-basses like in the Sony XB series, which can be heard everywhere, even when the damn violin is playing =) But the basses here are excellent, they are very gentle, they just caress the ear with their elasticity and you don’t want to add them at all. What is important, they are only where they should be: there are tracks without bass at all, you start a track with drums and the stage is filled with dense elastic bass. At the same time, that the mids and high frequencies are available and are not drowned out by these basses at all, that is, all the instruments that play equally are heard - this is exactly what a balanced sound is in my understanding. 2. Assembly. High-quality plastic, there is no laxity, everywhere everything is spinning as if on grease with effort. 3. Soundproofing. Excellent, you can pile on the volume to the fullest even if people are sleeping nearby. The ear pads are soft leather, not thin, should not tear with careful use. 4. Landing. They sit firmly - I think you can even run in them, softly - there is no feeling of fatigue on the head or near the temples even after continuous 2 hours. Due to the many degrees of freedom, they fit well to the ears. The headphones themselves are smaller than they seem in the pictures, quite compact, the ears sweat minimally under them, but under the skin, in any case, they will sweat in a few hours, either the skin or the fabric that wipes and absorbs sweat.
- I wrote this review with the Audio-Technica M50x on my head under the megabit tracks of the Lindsey Stirling album in FLAC format. The Foobar2022 player helped to play all this with direct sound output via ASIO from the ASUS STRIX RAID DLX sound card. On this configuration, it all sounds simply amazing, sometimes even to the point of goosebumps. The only point (some have noticed it as a drawback of the M50x) is the sound volume. The sound is close dense "cozy" - a closed sound scheme in one word. Some may not have enough space. Direct output via ASIO does not allow you to use proprietary sound card enhancers, but by switching to DirectSound or WASAPI you can tweak everything you want, including adding virtual 3D sound. Personally, I like the closed circuit and the maximum I can do is edit the equalizer.
- -compact, foldable, the wire is completely detachable, a cover is included, three wires to choose from - everything is very thought out, made with care for the client. - despite the more or less average audiophile class, they are perfect for beginners, as they sound without problems in any sound source (from phones to players and integrated sound cards on a laptop). Feel great without amplifiers.
- - the initial equalization of the headphones is uneven, the sound is heavily tinted and over-boosted in the bass and high frequencies, which makes them rather unpredictable in terms of sound settings. Strongly clog the sound with bass, you have to lower it. - despite the omnivorous nature, they can play differently on different sound sources, both for the better and for the worse. Pre-checking is still recommended. - small stereo panorama, small sound stage - lose to many classmates. - hardly suitable for DJs, as non-reference.
- I really liked the constructive, it is felt that this is an expensive thing, high-quality, weighty. Detachable cable, multiple cables included.
- No wow effect on first listen
- 1. Decent sound quality for your money. The bass is felt deep, the high frequencies sound good, except that the middle of the spectrum is indistinct and piled up. In fairness, it should be noted that only multi-driver devices can boast of good frequency separation. However, if you are a fan of such genres of music, which are dominated by upper and higher frequencies, then this will not be a problem for you. 2. They sit perfectly on my head - comfortable, look stylish, pressure on the ears begins to be felt after a couple of hours of continuous listening 3. Soundproofing is mediocre (soundproofing, by the way, is good) 4. Portability (small size, foldable design, lightweight, optimal cord length when used in portable mode) 5. Optimal impedance - these headphones are perfect for both stationary and portable listening. Although, the mobile phone will not shake them to the end, but in fact they still sound good. Things are much better in conjunction with Hi-Fi players
- 1. Today it is already a deeply outdated model (2022). If you draw a parallel with TVs, it's like buying a plasma panel in 2022. 2. A lot of plastic in the design, which negatively affects the durability of the device, sound insulation and vibration resistance when listening at above average volume 3. Non-standard cable connector on the headphone side. Although the cable is detachable, it will be difficult to find the same replacement in stores 4. There is no adjustment for a small head 5. No balanced cable connection 6. A lot of studio sounding, which interferes with the simple enjoyment of music, since all the jambs of the recording feel like a knife on a slate board
- Sound, availability of various cables, workmanship
- Ear pad size
- Long cable. Can listen to music
- Bass. It just doesn't exist. Build quality. Take sven or ritmix for 400 and you will understand how "quality" the ATH-M50x headphones are. From listening to music during the first 20 minutes, ringing and pain in the ears appeared.
- The sound you need. The bass margin is very good (sometimes you have to turn it down). High - equal. Noise isolation is above average. The music sounds very good, but now the hiss on the records is annoying. Rehearsing bass is great. Removable cords of different calibers. The sensitivity is high: they sound even with an external sound system without additional power, without wheezing and gurgling.
- Ear pads made of deputy leather, for replacement, because the discomfort in them is a little distracting. Caliber for the size of my ears - back to back. They press harder than other headphones. In terms of ergonomics, they lose to the same AKG in a given price category. The design is strongly for an amateur, not a single "ruffle".
- Build quality Sound
- Pretty tight on the head
