🎩 Stylish Melesh Dark Green German Alpine Oktoberfest Bavarian Costume Hat with Feather - A Classic Bavarian Accessory Review

This is the second one I've tried. I wear a large size hat so I ordered a large just before Octoberfest. When I put it on it was 2 inches too large, so this year I ordered a medium and it is still too large. I will be returning it because of the size and the sirry condition of the feather. Item was also shipped in a plastic bag and not a box. Took quite awhile to reshape it. In short buy something else.

Surprisingly, tight. Head had to be wedged into it. Ok, so it is inexpensive, but why not offer three sizes, like most clothing?

This hat was a big hit at the Oktoberfest party I went to. It seemed to have been passed around the whole party, so everyone could get a chance with it. Great prop and much sturdier & durable than I thought it would be for the price!

I was surprised at the quality of this hat for this price. It really looks like the real thing I have seen in Bavaria at many local events. With a 7 3/8 hat size I found the Medium size to be just a little bit large, but it wears nicely.

This was a gift to an Austrian friend.She loved it.Looks great, good quality and was shipped in a very secure packaging.

This hat runs a bit small, it seems. Also, it is extremely hard and uncomfortable. Would love to return it, as it also came deformed and given that it is rigid in structure, it's hard to reshape.

Go one size smaller than recommended. I am a 7-1/4 and the medium is loose, but usable. Nice hat for a costume and nice quality. Enjoy!

Great value with this hat. Stiff shape, nice dark green color, and looks much nicer than the price tag. Works great for me while playing in my Oktoberfest band. Buy it!

Nice quality and packaged with care. I bought the medium but should have gotten a small. Little loose but worked its magic in its part of my drindl costume for a world cup party. Color matched my drindl perfectly and the german flag colors as the banner were subtle yet nice display of the flag

I wanted to get a hat for my friend to wear to all of the Oktoberfest we go to. I wasn’t expecting it to be fancy, but for $17 I also thought it would be reasonably made. You can see the glue on the hat as well as the frayed edges of the cords that surround the hat. Also the feathers are quite frayed and look like a cat has seen them before. I am going to return this and look for a better hat.

My husband ordered these for us for a costume party for Oktoberfest. They are great quality for the price & would be a fun addition to any costume or wardrobe!

Surprisingly good quality for the price. I needed to build up the inside with a head band to make it fit to my size. Thanks for attention.

Measured my head and bought the suggested size. Turned out to be slightly too big but was easily fixed with a foam liner. That's my feedback.

This is a pretty nice hat for the price. The felt is nice, thick, and sturdy, and does not look too cheap. Much better than what you would get in the party store. The satiny rope-like hat band in the colors of the German flag is a nice touch, as are the feathers - although I did remove the fluffy white feather and added a pheasant feather, that was just due to personal preference.I got the large and it fits fine on my big ol' noggin - plenty big enough. This hat is really solid quality for what I paid. It came well-packaged, with a plastic insert to keep the hat shaped correctly. It feels nice, and the embellishments are attached really well.
