Super easy to install

After driving trucks with backup cameras for many years, I quickly realized how addicted I had become to driving a car without a camera. After a long search I decided on this one and it's great! It always seems to take three times longer to install than most people, but it seemed so easy to install that I actually set the timer when my husband left to put it on. He very easily installed it on our Jeep Wrangler in less than 15 minutes! The camera is simply attached to the license plate holder…

Pros
  • Safe parking in the dark at night: Solar 1 offers excellent visibility in low light conditions. Even in total darkness, you can easily and safely reverse or park under a dim light source such as reversing lights.

Good system, great customer support

We have both the original and the new improved rear view camera system. The main differences are that the remote button to turn on the camera is now integrated into the power supply and the display is better. Since the camera button is integrated into the power supply, there is no need for an additional button with its own battery. While the display and camera specs in the manual are the same for the two systems, I have a feeling the display is better on the new system. Colors are brighter…
