I bought a Wii over 10 years ago. I recently wanted to play Wii Sports and found that the component cables weren't working with my Samsung 6 Series HDTV. No video signal after connecting the component cable adapter that came with the Samsung TV. This Wii2HDMI adapter is exactly what I'm looking for. Image quality is good. However, it is 480p as you can see in the picture. It doesn't update to 1080p.

I bought this to reduce the number of cables going to the Onkyo TX-NR686 receiver. After connecting the device to the Wii and an HDMI cable to the appropriate input on my receiver, I got picture and sound straight away.
