I am using this with Nvidia Shield. I used to have a version without voice recognition because the shield feature didn't work, but I liked the raised buttons and layout so I left out the voice. For a cheap remote (even a cheap open box) this remote is impressive. It feels solid and unlike other mini keyboards I've used. Pretty well built, not a cheap feel. Thought the mouse would be useless and useless, but it's actually pretty intuitive and accurate. My only problem is that I can't figure out how to right click. The battery life has yet to be tested. Anything worth updating I will do.

I've had issues with previous remotes for my Nvidia Shield due to the location of the unit in my entertainment hub. No line of sight is required, so that's a huge benefit. However, the keyboard does not respond as quickly as we would like. You have to type intentionally and slowly to make sure all the letters match. Still much faster than selecting one letter at a time using the on-screen keyboard.

I had multiple controllers for my two set-top boxes, my surround receiver and my televisions. It's definitely the best. Well made, easy to program and a good range for my large rooms. I also like to engrave letters. I hope this helps the key art survive. The backlight isn't too dim or too bright. So far I'm impressed.
