Patio TV, Sonos AMP Amplifier, Patio Ceiling Speakers. It works!

On one end: LG CX TV HDMI ARC Patio connected to a "receiver" box (which took me a while to figure out, I thought it should be connected to a transmitter) which connected is connector of Cat5e cable. Other end: Sonos amp connected via HDMI to a "transmitter" connected to a Cat5e connector (the other end of the same cable behind the patio connector). The amp is also connected to my patio ceiling speakers. Cat5e is about 75 feet. The Sonos software picked up the TV ARC connection and we are…

HDMI ARC not working

I ordered HDMI 2.0 ARC [4KEX70-ARC-H2] hoping it would work with HDMI ARC as advertised. I even contacted before purchasing to confirm. I connected it to my TV with an Ethernet cable, but the audio cuts out in short bursts about every 30 seconds, which is very annoying when watching TV. It's a shame considering the price of the product. Update: The AV Access team has contacted me with some troubleshooting tips and said they will work with me to ensure I am happy with my purchase. Working on it…

My ARC feedback issue was due to my TCL Roku TV

The HDMI Cat5 network extender that was installed in the house I recently bought died. The old system worked fine with my old 46 in Samsung from 2007, but one day the TV was upgraded to a TCL Roku 65 inch Smart TV. I was very upset by the lack of a return from the TV to the receiver. 12 months later the extender died so I did a little research and found and bought a new one from AV Access with an HDMI 2.0 ARC extender (model 4KEX70-ARC-H2) here at Revain. I'm the only one keeping my fingers…

Just what I need for ARC

I had an HDMI extender without ARC function but I have a new 75 inch Samsung NQ90A TV and wanted the ARC function of the TV with my AV receiver Denon 3400H use surround sound system. The setup looks like this: an HDMI 2.0 cable from the Denon AVR's output port (it's the white one marked for ARC) to the AV Access HDMI 2.0 ARC Extender (transmitter), then a Cat6 line (50ft). length) to the back of the TV where I have an AV Access HDMI 2.0 ARC Extender (receiver) to another HDMI 2.0 cable that…

Perfect extension cable for powering Sonos Amp speakers via ARC

Great product that solved my unique problem! over 75 feet). This setup outputs the audio from the TV (via Cat6 and an extension cord) so my ceiling speakers are essentially a soundbar for my outdoor TV. Works great and is the only solution I could find that would solve this particular use case. With this setup, I can watch the game on the porch and group the audio to all the other Sonos zones in my house so I never miss the action during a bio break! I also only need one remote to control the…

So far, so good! in External TV Tuner

This is probably my second review ever but the company asked if I could share my thoughts on my experience with extension cords and since they proved very helpful I thought so would have to. To be honest I'm not a super tech, more of a casual user, so take my review with a grain of salt (as they say). I bought an Arc 2.0 extension as I had about 40 feet from my new Sony 4K TV to my AV Receiver. I've read that HDMI gets a little "questionable" well beyond 25 feet, so I went with CAT6 and planned

Saved me loads of time and works great with 4K sources.

I bought an old house that had all sorts of cables behind the TV except HDMI. I was afraid to fish out a new HDMI above the mantel and fix the drywall. One of the wires I found behind the TV was an old CAT5 cable that hadn't been used. So I put ethernet terminators on the cable and ordered these boxes. I plugged it in and boom, it works right away. Great picture and sound from my cable box and 4K Apple TV. The best part is I was able to move ALL my video components to my basement and control…

Stops working after 18 months

Worked as described to connect Apple TV via ARC to a home theater receiver in a service closet in the garage and the sound system throughout the house, although I have the power out every few times Had to switch off weeks due to lost picture and sound since I received it. After 18 months, the device suddenly stopped sending, the sound and picture were severely distorted. Replaced it with another brand from Revain (EZCOOTECH EX70H2) and kept all the HDMI cables and IR ports and voila…
