Truck 1500 Silverado 1999 release.

Perfect fit for my 1999 Silverado 1500 LS! Good quality! Installation less than 10 minutes. My truck has a chrome package so the mirror has chrome on the back of the mirrors for decoration. Supplied in black or chrome. power or no power. Make sure you get the right one. All fasteners are a three-point bolt system for this year. 99-05.

Almost like new

Replaced a broken driver's mirror on my truck. Little did I know I had ordered a replacement without the heated option. In fact, I forgot I had that option on my truck as I've never driven it in cold weather. However, the one I ordered fit perfectly and was easy to assemble. And I saved a few dollars. Also, it looks like the original.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good value for money

At first I was a bit optimistic that this would replace my original mirror. I was very happy with it and it actually looks and works the same as my original. The local dealer wanted $250 and didn't account for the labor for the same part. I wouldn't pay that much for a 21 year old truck. One small issue is that the hardware that came with it didn't come with washers and I just used my originals instead.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Useless Features

Good budget replacement for OEM

For the price this is a great replacement mirror option if you don't want to pay the OEM price. I didn't want to waste the OEM price on a 20 year old Jagd pickup, so this was perfect. You can tell the quality isn't OEM level, but it's "good enough". To my surprise, the mirror plate was well attached. I was expecting the glass to shake a bit at highway speeds, but there was nothing. Play at the fold point is slightly larger than the OEM, but that wasn't an issue.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Some issues

Good replacement for 2002 Silverado

I installed this on my 2002 Chevy Silverado after my original mirror broke at the pivot axis. The new mirror came with spare nuts but I preferred to use the original 3 nuts (10mm) to mount it. It's a simple setup and I'd say anyone can do it. If you are not familiar with the process, you can find videos online to see what is going on. Here's a simple takeaway: Lower the window so you can reach the mirror while you work on the inside of the door. Use a pry bar or a flat head screwdriver to…
