Newly installed 50 . great phones. Only 1 complaint. The speakerphone does not sound good to the person you are talking to. or maybe i just have 1 bad phone? didn't ask around about the other 49 people here

The 9608G is Avaya's entry-level 9600 Series IP phone. While the monochrome screen doesn't scream "look at me", the voice quality is quite different from cheaper SIP phones. Plus, the quality feel of the phone makes the cheaper options feel light and cheap.

When you get this 2016 phone on your desk, you will finally know what your boss thinks of you and how much it cost you. I wouldn't even use it privately, but using it in my work should be against the law. The display looks like a (poor and very cheap) mid 1990's - a pain in the ass on the eyes.

We use these phones exclusively in our building (hundreds) and have for many years. I found them to be of very high quality. calls are clear. The screen isn't very high tech, just monochrome and with fixed button selections, meaning there's no touchscreen. But it does the work that allows us to make and receive calls. It has a heavy build, no feeling of being cheap. I don't work in IT so I can't comment on setup or installation issues, but we didn't have any issues with that.
