Poor quality. We used them as clasps for our bracelets. We have several customers who come back and tell us that the pin on the locking mechanism fell out. We've also experienced this with several clasps when assembling our bracelets. Also, they definitely discolor when a person sweats and the skin turns green. We have since switched to a new closure that we and our customers love. Won't buy this again.

This leather clasp was a great idea. I've used them a few times on leather straps, very few, but as soon as I loosened the strap a little, the clasp wouldn't hold. I tried to squeeze the clasp a little to hold it tighter but it broke. I ended up having to glue the clasp and put the drawstring on and off over my head. The design is a bit imperfect, the clasp is magnetic and the tiny latch turns into a slot but easily releases when moving.

It came so fast I didn't even know what it was! Great article. One that is in use seems to wear well. I test the quality of my jewelry by wearing it in a plastic bag IN MY BASKET for a week or two and so far the assembled piece has worked GREAT with this clasp! Good price. Strong magnetic closure that does not pinch the skin. (You experts in the magnetic jewelry class KNOW what I'm talking about!). It may not be real silver but the tone is not too cheap for use with pretty jewellery/stones etc.
