The finished product is flawless (for my purposes)

I'm creating a decorative product with a large flat surface and I'm not happy with the visible plane lines. If I triple the print time, I might lose most of the lines, but the tiniest scratch becomes a noticeable distraction. Not wanting to wait a few extra days to buy textured sheet directly from Prusa, I decided to take a risk and buy this textured PEI spring sheet from Revain. I am very happy with this sheet as it helps me achieve the desired effect: a large "flat" surface with no layer…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Better than textured Prusa sheet

Update: Had to buy a new one after four months. Print PC blends without a glue stick. Bad idea. Whole parts of the coating were torn out during removal. You can't blame the paper for that. Prusa emphasizes that PC Blend requires a glue stick, and it even comes with the filament. i was just stupid Immediately ordered two more of these - they are fantastic. Update after a month of use: Super. It has been used almost 24x7 and it works great. I don't see any signs of degradation. The only downside…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Film with good firm texture

Bought for my i3 for PETG printing as I didn't want to mess with glue on a slick PEI film. After I typed everything, the sheet worked perfectly and typed almost every day for 2 months. Very strong coating and good adhesion with Atomic PETG. The pieces come off easily if you let them cool for a few minutes, no glue required. When I have adhesion issues, a quick cleaning with dish soap and warm water fixes it. The steel is noticeably thinner and lighter than Prusa sheets, but it does the job well

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Available in white only
