Losing a star for the complete lack of instructions, manufacturer's specs etc. It's just a tool and a bag of cheap grommets. Time will tell if they hold up or can use grommets other than the kit but I only need them occasionally so I'm happy with this purchase.

I almost returned it. It only had gaskets but no washer and I spent time trying to figure out how to make it work without a washer until I realized there was a washer bag inside the gasket bag. I didn't see it on my first visit. When I used both, everything worked great. Really easy to use. Goes through thick tissue like butter. Thanks very much !

Works well with the poor quality spacers that come with the kit (very flimsy and flimsy, can't break through effectively and will hold 4 layers of 13 oz (thin) banner vinyl - which is standard for the corner banners). We have tried a few 3/8" grommets from other manufacturers and they will NOT fit this punch. We'll probably throw the stamp away since we can't find the right grommets that work with it.

I was skeptical when I bought this but this is a good quality tool. It's very good for the price. Only medium hand pressure is required for application. Magnets on either side hold the nickel-plated steel bushings in place. Easy to use upside down. 100% brass bushings tend to slip. Installs approximately 30 grommets on 2 tarps in approximately 25 minutes. The quality of the grommets included in the kit is "B” grade but has never failed for 3 weeks. Did "good" work for my purposes. Used on the (7) edges of outdoor curtains to allow the bungee cord to pass through the floor (to prevent over-inflation). I didn't cut the fabric first and it cut right through, just not quite clean. Only a few strokes were clean, full circles. Some of them didn't fully fold the metal either. Only problems from the start! 1- Wrong size bushing order received from ZERO Customer Service! No more calls and emails! 2- Tried the first canvas along the cutting line. Complete failure for the first few holes. Unless you have a solid, proper diameter hole punch, this tool will NOT cut a clean through hole in cheap, thinner canvas.
