I love this light. Super bright. Gives color to my fish. I removed the side brackets and it sits flush with the top of my tank.

This LED light is used in my 55 gallon tank, I've had it for a few months now and it seems to work better than I expected, especially for the price it's awesome you won't regret it. The price of this light at Petco & Petsmart was about $130 in my area so I was initially hesitant to purchase this product as the price seemed too low, but it seemed to exceed my expectations.

Good aquarium light, perfect size, does the job perfectly. I personally didn't like how bright it was and that I couldn't dim it. If there was a way, I couldn't figure it out. The manual doesn't say anything about dimming. That's why I ended up coming back. Although my fault. I should have read the description better. This lantern was definitely a good buy, we needed a 72 inch lantern and it was one of the few lamps of this size that didn't cost hundreds of dollars. I'm attaching pictures of natural light versus lights on and you can see the light popping the tank. At night I turn on the blue light and it also looks very nice. The algae have run out in my aquarium! I clean and change the water weekly so algae is not a maintenance issue. Therefore, I would advise against leaving it on for several hours a day.

I received this light for a new 75G Fowlr install. I got a tank and stand kit from petsmart and it came with a marine shore light in the same style but this one is much brighter. Not close enough for coral but perfect for wildlife or fresh water with no plants. The construction is surprisingly strong compared to Seeland. I bought this for my 100 gallon salt water tank. In the aquarium only fish without plants. That works great! I also bought a timer and although reviews of the timer have been mixed, mostly about how difficult it is to program. It's just not true. Programming took 5 minutes (sold separately). I purchased a 48" BeamsWork LED Aquarium Light hoping to replace a T5HO dual fluorescent lamp. While the answers to questions about the product seemed to indicate that the body of this device was 48 inches long and expandable with the included brackets, my unit measured 46-7/8 inches without the brackets attached.
