You should have bought them last week.

If you have a half-ton 2016 Silverado/Sierra with factory shocks, do yourself a favor and put them in (the front ones at least). If I knew how important it was, I would install them the first week I own a truck. The factory ride was terrible and they're pretty affordable. It annoys me that GM has to save so much when something so small can improve the driving experience so much! There is a thread on the gm-truck forum about Bilstein shock absorbers that currently has 166 pages. There's a reason

Pros
  • nice stuff
Cons
  • not trendy

Very good! suitable for dampers, struts and suspensions

I love Bilstein products! When it came time to swap out the racks on my truck, it was a no-brainer! I love this particular model because they are adjustable which means I could use these stays to raise the front of my truck or just change the front end angle rather than adding an expensive rubber bushing that adds a system. Now the truck is almost level. (I could make it completely flat but I decided to just leave a little rake in front) They preform perfectly! The ride is a huge improvement…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Only available in white

The best shock absorber for GM 4WD!

This is the best shock absorber for GM 4WD! Will blow off the OEM ranchos that were on my 2014 GMC Sierra Z-71. Removing and removing the stock struts requires some mechanical skill, but if you've ever made a screwdriver and have the tools, you can get the job done as well. I also purchased the spring removal tool shown with these struts and used an air blast to slowly and evenly tighten the bolts. Watch the video on Y-Tube, take a piece of chalk and make some alignment lines on the old and new

Wow! What a difference to standard shock absorbers!

Bought to replace shock absorbers with a recommended mileage of 50,000 on a 2015 Silverado 2500. What a massive difference in performance! I left the shocks at the factory height and didn't raise them like the others. I also bought matching rear shocks which were a no brainer. This task was a little harder, but thanks to the online video tutorials, it's quite doable! Make sure you take the time to study the work that this job entails and leave it to the professionals if you feel like you're not

Pros
  • Bought Finally
Cons
  • Modernity

Great replacement for factory shocks on a 2014 GMC Sierra

Replaced the front shocks on my 2014 GMC Sierra SLT 4WD after the stock black factory shocks failed a second time. The dealer told me my original shocks were fine, but I could hear a pump-like noise when driving 5-45 mph on a washboard road or rough pavement. I have a 2.5" cross-country alignment kit and GMC will not honor the suspension warranty. When I finally bit the bullet and replaced, I immediately felt a striking difference. Replace the OEM with these Bilsteins and set it to the highest…

Installed on Silverado 2015, very happy with the results!

I wanted to level the truck without affecting the ride quality or causing excessive wear to the suspension components. After a lot of research and reading reviews he let me choose Bilstein shock absorbers. I am very satisfied with this product. I asked the local shop to tune and adjust the shocks for maximum performance. (I've seen a lot of people do it themselves and while they made it easy I wasn't 100% happy with it so I left it to people who knew what they were doing.) For people who were…

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Infuriates

If you're planning on leveling your GMC/Chevy, this really is the best option. Assuming of course you won't spend over US$1,000 "Spent bucks on some Fox coilovers. Forget that shim set. Spacer sets actually have a terrible effect on the geometry of your IFS truck. These Bilsteins don't negatively change your truck's geometric angles. They don't restrict up or down below a move. You can actually increase the upstroke, take a look at my attached picture. Bilstein have a good plan on how they work

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine
