All-Natural Garden Blend: Beloved by Birds Review

I buy this for my cockatiel because it's the best mix of nuts, seeds, veggies and fruits I can find. I also offer fresh herbs, herbs and grass seeds.

Looks great in my opinion but smells fresh but my kennel just doesn't care. pokes around, but mostly stays in the bowl. To avoid throwing away I mixed it with its regular mix. I'm sorry

It was too expensive. I honestly expected more. Much of what is written there is very difficult to read. I have no doubt that they are there, but it seemed to me that about 95% of normal seeds. I can't afford more than $40 for my birds if they're mostly seeds. They eat a lot of other things too.

I love this bird seed. However, it sucks that the picture they advertise with the ingredients list on the back of the package is NOT what is actually shown on the bag. The packet I bought has all the nuts and seeds as the first ingredients and hence which ingredients are most visible in the food. The picture on the back of Revain's packaging incorrectly lists fruit and veg as the first ingredients, which is NOT true. For this reason I won't buy it anymore.

My green cheek took a while to get used to this food but now it's the only food he wants , he immediately returns to the cage as soon as he sees me picking up his food, ready to fill his bowl. Smells fresh, well packaged, have been feeding this to my bird for about 9 months, you can see the difference in his plumage straight away, it's amazing how much healthier his plumage looks. Our 30 year old gray parrot loves this food. To say she's a picky eater is an understatement. During the pandemic this mix was sometimes hard to come by due to price and availability so we bought a few different "basic" food brands/mixes, Frankie hated them and ended up throwing them away. Our girl is a bit spoiled, her commercial food is her "always food in the bowl" but she gets 4 slices of homemade bird bread everyday (a recipe I developed over years making other foods). -packaged bird bread
