I've been looking for a reasonably priced replacement for the Black and Decker 18v batteries for months. This is the perfect solution! The batteries fit my old charger and work great with both herbivores and blowers. Long charging and fair price - great choice

I have a complete set of Black and Decker gardening tools. Old but good, trimmer/edder, blower, hedge trimmer. These original batteries lasted 23 years and still hold a 5 minute charge. So I went and bought old $5 batteries from the neighbors that last 15 minutes on a charge. Then I found this one. Hooray! I doubt they'll last 23 years, but so far so good and that's putting me off buying new tools. Those old B&D instruments were great.

So far, so good! I used batteries on my herbivore for about 5 1/2 years before they died but I never managed to use them for more than 20 minutes even when new. Yesterday I cut a lot of very tall weeds (bush burlap) with one of these new ones and they haven't been touched since last fall so I figured the battery would die quicker. No! When I received them I checked the charge by putting them in the charger and they were fully charged as indicated by the charger. I kept one just in case and used both the next day.
