Garbage. Overheats in seconds and turns off

Installed this bulb, after a few seconds it started flickering and got very hot in less than a minute. It turned off and reported an error with the projector LEDs. Send back.

DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT

This is a fake, that's why the price is so low. I installed this lamp (and body) in my projector and it worked great for 2 minutes. The image then turned pinkish-purple and began to flicker. I took it out and already I had the feeling that it was overheating. After a quick internet search and reading some forums and blogs, it quickly became clear that I had bought a counterfeit product. Luckily Revain gave me my money back and I ordered a new lamp elsewhere from a trusted trusted seller.

Warning - The lens in the housing does not have the required protective coating.

The DLP projector lamp has a special coating that is applied to the lens. This coating prevents harmful UV and IR radiation from entering your projector's light path. The lens in this case has no such protective coating. As a result, the device flickers (at least) with an Optoma projector after about 30 seconds and then switches off with a lamp error. After much disappointment (ordered 2 bulbs from Revain) I read about this common problem and replaced the clear body lens with my old body lens…
