Size issue - Outdoor

I'm an advanced boulderer and I know how my feet feel in climbing shoes. I'm usually a size 7 on women. Based on the Black Diamond brand, I bought the Momentum men's running shoes in size 6. They were ridiculously small. But the shoes are beautiful! (For advanced climbers - no it's not advanced, I specifically wanted a flatter shoe for what I'm climbing.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not automatic

My first pair of climbing shoes - I love them so much!

Another review suggested buying these as my first climbing shoes, which I did. You are excellent! They are of excellent quality and I haven't had a single problem climbing them. I usually wear size 11, took 11.5. It was perfect - they're tight but not in the way bothersome.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Repair

Perfect fit, ideal for indoor climbing.

These shoes are great, especially for indoor climbing. I've used them on several climbs and they hold up great. I ordered these sneakers 1 size smaller than my street shoe size and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend for that first pair of climbing shoes or for a pair of running shoes.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

Perfect shoes for beginners!

I have been using these climbing shoes for 2 years. absolutely love her. They don't have a sharp outline and are fairly flat, for me that's what I wanted. I personally don't like it when my foot bisects, so I didn't want a lot of flex in my running shoes. I can still stick my toe through the cracks in the wall and have a good grip on the rock. I would recommend it for beginners or intermediates. I've climbed a few 5.11a but that's the limit of my ability and most of my climbing is in the 5.10…

Pros
  • wide range
Cons
  • boring packaging

Be careful with the size. Works little.

I bought size 13 men's clothes for my husband and they fit him too tight. His usual size is a men's 44, and these shoes pinched his toes together as if he were wearing women's pumps. The shoe was only 11 inches long from heel to toe. My husband's foot length from heel to toe is 11.5 inches. I don't know what kind of measuring system this brand or company uses, but it's definitely not a size 13. The shoes also leave black skid marks all over the floor like the rubber is wearing off. He didn't…

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • I'm pissed off

Not for wider feet, fits men

Well made, looks really grippy, but my legs were horribly wrinkled on the sides and crunchy all over the toe box). My feet aren't very wide either, but I got them back in the end and went with a pair of Sportiva Tarantulace. Much more comfortable in width.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Compatibility

FOR NEW CLIMBERS/ Sizing Questions

This is my second pair of climbing shoes. I don't have much climbing experience but I know how uncomfortable new climbing shoes are, my first shoes were too tight but I forced myself to climb in them anyway because most 'experienced climbers' said they should be tight. I personally think you must be misleading yourself. Your shoes should be tight, but if they hurt and hurt, then most likely you will say that this is not the sport I like. So when you buy these shoes, ALWAYS buy half a size…

Pros
  • Neutral, low profile last for vertical climbing or all-day comfort
Cons
  • Fits

DIMENSIONS and COMFORT, please read.

I love these climbing shoes! If you are new to rock climbing or thinking of doing rock climbing or indoor climbing then this is the perfect shoe for beginners. READ THIS PART FOR SIZE AND CONVENIENCE. So here is my experience with this shoe brand. When I ordered these shoes they felt like I was the wrong size. I am the same size as my normal street shoe size. Look, you gotta break in these bad boys. The rubber needs to flex and twist, because that's what you're going to do when you're climbing.

Pros
  • Adjustable lacing
Cons
  • Something different
